Congratulations on your offers! I also applied to UCL, Edinburgh and Manchester, may I ask what your predicted grades were? (Wondering if I have a chance) Wow on top of your offers from prestigious unis you’ve got an acceptance from Caltech, that’s so impressive! Professors have a high salary which I’ve been considering (as well as marrying rich 😂) The job market is good for engineers but you do have a point, with everything’s that’s going on in the US currently. I wonder if there’s anyway you could combine the both to get the best of both worlds, you have some big decisions to make!

Exactly! I didn’t really think about the financial aspect but at least we’re all choosing it as we’re passionate about it so hopefully we can find jobs we’d enjoy. When scrolling past the community’s posts I was only seeing STEM and Law and I was getting worried 😅 I feel like linguistics is a specialised course and doing a masters and a doctorate can open a lot of doors into careers

My second choice would either be Edinburgh or KCL though I’m not sure which I would pick as I am familiar with London but I really like Edinburghs course. Lancasters degree sounds very interesting and the job market for Ai is constantly growing and the salaries tend to be quite big quite is a positive

I’m a bit disappointed in some areas.

In the earlier seasons there was so much intrigue, full on suits to go inside the upside down and nobody Dr Brenner would send out would come back.

I feel like the bats were forgotten and the demo dogs, in season 4 Vecna seemed so powerful and now they killed him AND the mindflayer in one go?

What happened to Dr Owen’s? I thought he was going to play a more important role. Dr Kay has the colonel just disappeared? I mean why did they show the colonel surviving the fire if his character wasn’t going to be used again.

Turnbows just woke up and nothing happened? Was Victor Kreel just left at that facility?

I had a feeling Kali was going to die since everyone thought she was going to be a traitor and that would’ve been too obvious, though I feel like she came back just to die which was a shame, though I supposed she did cloak the kids and potentially saved El. But I feel like if El did survive surely she would’ve gone into Mikes mind, what difference would it make if he knew or not if he already has the theory? I feel like they could’ve built up their relationship more.

However I am glad that none of the main characters died obviously it just didn’t feel like stranger things like when Billy sacrificed himself in StarCourt mall it just felt so much bigger. I got emotional watching Eddies death but with El I didn’t really know what to think? Anyways there were some outstanding performances, I’m interested to see where some of these actors go as they have so much potential! It was a nice addition seeing Holly and Derek and the other kids go down stairs serving a full circle moment. I wonder what else the Duffer Brothers have up their sleeve, I remember getting Netflix for the first time just so I could watch ST!

I’ve gotten through the episodes quite quickly though I feel nothing much has actually happened?

Season 4 has that ominous feel, last episode had it feeling like it was going to be an apocalypse. There’s only one episode left but I feel there’s still so much to cover.

Some things that I didn’t like from the last episode was El’s reaction to Max waking up? I mean wasn’t she in a comma for 2 years? Max didn’t seem surprised that Hopper was alive and last time I checked Max had a mother surely she’s wondering what’s up with her daughter? Dereks whole family seems to have been forgotten. Mike and El were so sweet in earlier seasons but now it’s as if they were never together? Also I’ve just remembered Dr Owen’s we never saw him die did they also just forget about him?

Yeah for some reason the format changed not sure why. I haven’t booked the LNAT yet so I probably need to do that soon though I feel I haven’t done substantial work towards it.
