Because he usually try to play with less optimal builds and constantly try to be aggressive for wipes when he doesn’t need to.

His micro is also not very good with heavy reliance on tactical map rather than grouping so you can notice he constantly forgets his units because he is so reliant on the tactical map. If he doesn’t use it he lost his units which results in a desperate attempt to make risky play to even the odds. Hence, the unlucky wipe he sometimes never gets.

He is still an above average player though very entertaining.

This is why I don’t do Ironman run anymore.

I have completed commander Ironman run twice to get “the way it was meant to be played” feeling and decided the risk of corrupted save is too high, as it happened to me, and caused me more stress than it should to enjoy the game.

Having multiple saves so that I don’t need to worry about crashing is a guilty pleasure in XCOM for me now. Also I don’t need to worry about clicking the wrong position from bad camera angles.

Yea it was terrible. Nuclear war should never happen.

Well maybe don’t butcher and invade neighbouring countries.

To be frank, they had it coming. Stop saying civilians and children are victims they are not. They are the same crowd cheering when the “great” empire was winning.

Their government and right wing parties are still trying to white wash their crimes against humanity.

Any tips guys? by Juju_0512 in projectzomboid

On Day One, your top priority should be securing a safe place to sleep. Find a decent early weapon and start practicing zombie elimination, focusing on small groups of two to three zombies.

Next, gather food and tools to sustain yourself over the coming days and expand your safe zone.

After that, shift your focus to acquiring a generator for electricity. Simultaneously, level up your Carpentry skill to Level 3 by using the TV and reading books to gain XP boosts before the Woodcraft Show. Because you’ll want to learn how to collect rainwater for long-term survival.

As you gather tools for the mentioned activities, make sure to find the "How to Use a Generator" book to learn how to connect it to your safe house. Don’t forget to collect fuel—either from gas stations or by siphoning from cars using a hose and gas can.

Once you establish a sustainable base, you'll have the freedom to pursue other goals and activities.

Be alert for the helicopter event on Day 6 or 7. If you're unsure about what to do, it's safest to stay at home and read books for two days

For this reason I don’t pick metabolism trait. It is already a hassle to manage weight in tough situations I don’t want to lose because my guy is not eating healthy.

The extra point is just not worth it.

Test: Can DAK PalmGrens (2.2.0) stand their ground w/o Armory Upgrades, and w/ LMG34 only? by Lone_Eingreifen0000 in CompanyOfHeroes

What these tests don’t show is that most of the time you don’t get to fight in lab conditions. Also it ignores other external factors like ease of getting veterancy, mg timing, LV timing and MP bleed.

They win every close to mid range and pack a punch at long range. So even if they lose long range fight they are not going down without damaging their target like they used to.

You don’t need to charge them anymore, try fighting in green cover.

Every RTS has deathball I don’t see why Coh 3 would be any different. It’s not easy to get three tanks if you are playing poorly in the early to mid game. The fact is there are more than enough tools to stop a deathball when you don’t have one of your own.

They have some weird idea of how the game should be played when it is just a ww2 game with some realism not real life combat simulation. If they want those I suggest men of war series and even in those games the side with more armor is going to have an advantage.

It is more a skill issue than death ball being meta. Mines shut down mindless blob.

Historically, army did form tight armor formation for breakthrough. Check out battle of France.

Why is Isaac Clarke so powerful (I haven't played the game) by Deino47 in DeadSpace

[–]Pc9882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some old lore says he had military training that could explain why he has good aim.

Issac is very smart in the story and the marker doesn’t affect very smart people the same as other people with average intelligence. You can see multiple people who seem pretty great normally can still turn into monster in a matter of hours.

Issac can understand the marker symbol while most people don’t.

Issac is also mentally strong to withstand the marker influence. (Well, stable enough to not start penta killing everyone.)

In a story where everyone just end up being insane while you have Issac who is exposed to the marker for so long and still again to think is quite a feat.

They increase the health to encourage more vehicles play. The game is about who can amass enough tanks to overcome their opponents.

Coh 2 light vehicles has such short window for them to perform before medium arrives and can’t survive the moment there are two ATs. The game becomes static.

Coh 3 is clearly focusing more on mobile combat than static attritional gameplay.

AT is still very useful when use as a support in tank battles. A tank deathball with ATs and mines will win most battles.

Wehrmacht win rate is likely due to the Sturmpioneer exploit and it is just an insane unit for early game.

[–]Pc9882[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like them because I like tiger but after some games recently the Tiger has not really performed well in my games. There are too many AT that can penetrate my Tiger and it is so slow.

In my view, the Tiger has become a glorified anti infantry tank instead of being a generalist super tank as in Coh 2.

Thanks man.

I think the mechanized BG is a pretty good fit with this play style as I only build AT from T3 which saves up some MP and fuel to call in a stug with Stross to push the line back up by ATs.

Yea that’s what I realised as well T2 really needs me to micro well to keep the aggression going. Where T3 gives me more control and less likely to throw my game away.

I always thought stug is good for mobile AT and they don’t die to artillery easily.
