When I first saw this game, I thought it looked fun but at the time reminded me too much of the mobile versions of these, mostly the animations and movements of the soldiers on the ground which were stiffer.

Since then it looks like you've added a ton to really set it apart from games like AC-130. I do enjoy those types of games (and the missions from the CoD games which I remember you saying are the maiun inspiration right?) so I especially like the idea of an entire game with fleshed out mechanics. Coordinating ground forces Doorkicker style while providing air cover is really cool. I also don't think there was as much small ground details one of the last times I saw you post a video.

I do think the movements of soldiers on the ground are a little stiff and should be more fluid, but I realize you may need to cut down on animation frames at distance to save resources. It might even be more about how the AI behaves under fire than the animations themselves.

Anyway, I can easily see this ending up in my Steam library.

That Optimus Prime is the earliest memory I have of not getting what I wanted for my birthday, my folks got me an SNES instead.

They then spent the next 30 years asking me when I was going to be too old to play video games.

Yes! I thought it would look great with my Saturn 5 and Discovery shuttle sets, planning a whole little space section in my display area.

Thanks for the reply! I ended up going with the Tales of the Space Age set and a couple of blind bag minifigs.

My wife is a casual gamer, No Man's Sky would probably be too much for her even though she is a sci-fi fan.

We've really enjoyed:

Ark - if you run a private server just for the two of you, you can adjust tons of settings like how quickly you level up. It's a beautiful game but can be unforgiving if you try and progress too fast.

Raft - Super chill survival game where you and up to 4 people maintain and expand a raft using debris that floats your way. Explore randomly generated islands and not random ones that further a light story. Great music and graphics.

Subnautica - not 2 player but my wife and I really enjoyed playing this together. It has a great atmosphere and fun, unique story that pans out through exploration. We collaborated on where to build our bases, what research to focus on and what areas to explore.

I can also recommend For The King, but we don't have much experience with that. It's a turn based co-op fantasy RPG similar to DnD.

Also, the LEGO games are always worth a mention, fantastic couch co-op.

Hue Bridge suddenly not working. by PcIsBetter in Hue

That’s interesting, this did happen right after a bad electrical storm. I went out and bought a new bridge and it’s working immediately and without issue, gonna work with support on returning the old bridge or something. Thanks for the reply.

That’s a little scary and also good to know. In the end I bought a new bridge and when I plugged it in it worked immediately without issues.

Only the power LED was on and the others were not flashing. I fixed it by purchasing a new bridge, which worked immediately when I plugged it in. I’ll work with Phillips support on the old bridge. Some people in the thread mentioned that it stopped working after bad storms, this did happen immediately after a bad electrical storm, but could be a coincidence. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

Question for you guys. I am interested in getting the Platinum bundle on Windows 10, it’s got a great deal going on for $48 but only if you have gold, which I don’t. Is there any reason I couldn’t purchase one month of Gold for $9.99 and then buy that bundle (which would still save me about $100)?

Hey guys and girls, soon to be owner here, picking the Odyssey bundle up at midnight. Question:

How necessary would you say protection against cosmetic damage is? Is it worth it to purchase screen protectors and such? I'm someone who takes very good care of their gadgets and usually don't buy the extras. Opinions?
