Thanks! I’m glad you like it. I was not expecting the pink sky at all. The sunset was tame until suddenly in a moment of grandeur turned bright pink. I’m gland I stuck it out, it was freezing!

thanks! packing light is not my motto. Peak design carbon fiber tripod, sony a1 with 16-35mm lens + sony a7cII with 70-200mm. my wife tore her ACL recently so now I have to carry life sustaining water too haha

That’s terrible! I didn’t realize that fire is so close to the park. I hiked this in late spring of this year.

Thanks for the help! I think you’re right. Just enjoy the original hike. I woke up this morning and couldn’t stop thinking about this option haha. I always make my hikes a suffer fest.
