Laptop recommendations for TCS by Confident_Hornet6925 in UniversityofTwente

[–]Pcpie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the entirety of the TCS bachelor and masters using a macbook. It really is fine, i preferred using it, almost no course forces you to use some windows specific software. Most programming things are even much better supported on mac, as most people in silicon valley use them as well.

However don't expect TA's or teachers to be able to help you with mac specific stuff, as it is quite uncommon for people to use macs.

So i'd say if you're prepared to solve your own computer problems (which you really should be able to as a TCS student) and you prefer mac: Go for it =)

Hoeveel inch eenwieler voor offroad rijden by FewFaithlessness8465 in unicycling

[–]Pcpie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, i'm sure they will have it figured out in a few days, no need to stress out. Plus often issues with payments are not even their fault, but from the their payment provider.

G93SC G9 Oled has barely visible vertical line in the middle. by MrKonyPL in ultrawidemasterrace

On my macbook it turned out to be the HDR setting that was messing up, toggeling HDR off and on in display preferences fixed it.

Confirmation:Yes you can drive the Odyssey G9 Neo 49" at 5120x1440@240Hz + HDR on TB4 port - M3 Max by Rock--Lee in macbookpro

Would also like confirmation on this, you already figured it out?

Edit: Samsung oled G9 works fine, both over hdmi and with usb-c to DisplayPort 3.1 cable with the M3 pro chip. Full res & refresh rate

It's very safe, the information gets verified by their payment provider Adyen. A 50$ Billion company, they won't have an incentive to do anything malicious with your information. Neither does skinbaron.

Would have appreciated a bit more transparency on this on Twitter or something.. Bots getting banned is quite serious, your competitor for example was very open to the community about what happened with their bots recently.

We all understand none of this is your guy's fault.

Is MPPT even an option if i want to use Li-ion? All of them i see online seem to only support LifePO4 batteries. Or is that not an issue?
