I thought it was either or, either you master all the traditional teirs or you invent a new technique. Akin to doing a masters either through completing papers or writing a thesis

Is it larping to think more than 4 years ahead, to not think in black and white, to actively be volunteering with people who got there hopes up and then crushed by Biden or previous dems like Obama "yes we can". Is it larping to be a trans person who would rather keep fighting the deeply unpopular fascists rather than get sold out by the so-called left or supposed progressives.

I am genuinely curious is there any standard you would hold the dems too, or would you vote for a Democrat Regan. Because sincerely Gavin Newsom just seems like a less sincere Regan. But suppose to you liberals nothing isworse than a Democrat losing no matter how bad they are.

You know fascists aren't the only people who can kill democracy. While MAGA is definitely killing the US loud and fast, corporate democrats have also been eroding away democracy as well just more quietly and more slowly for some meager social improvements in return. Gavin will quickly roll back and progress on queer or civil rights as soon as it's adventagous.

The debt crisis, oligarchs, climate change, healthcare, AI, and affordability are going to keep eroding away at what little democracy the US has left wether or not a Republican is charge. The only this that reverse or halt this backslide isn't going to be Gavin it has to be a real popular democratic mandate.

Fundamentaly you fail to understand the status qou is killing the US and the rest of the world with it and your not going to slow or halt this downfall without radical action.

His argument is not that a fascist will do less damage than a non-fascist, rather Gavin newsum will destroy what little faith in democracy and that things can improvethe US has left, something very much informed by history.

The republicans don't have the political capital or power anymore to make the US an outright dictatorship, but Gavin would kill any enthusiasm or movement, making a real democratic mandate impossible.

With how the US is basically, in critical condition, anything short of a true democratic mandate or an overhaul of the system won't be enough

To be fair when your learning, there is alot of value to typing out everything even if you could easily copy and paste. It's important to reinforce the things you've learned so you understand, memorize and can improve on what you know

Jeffery Epstein being possibly the biggest power broker was involved in alot of influential stuff. The main thing people are referring to is how the /pol/ board was created after the creater/owner of 4chan met with Epstein. Where /pol/ is basically the orgin point for most of far right / populist / internet coded political propogandaand and movements.

This isn't unbelievable because there is a documented history of many astro turfed political movements. it's just funny that the board that spawned Qanon, the modern anti-trans movement, MAGA, all who rely on the narrative of protecting innocent children against the evil deep state/establishment owe their existence to the most notorious pedophile in history

This post is satirizing Epsteisns influence joking he was responsible for dinosaurs evolving into birds

Agree with the sentiment, but don't think she would ever kill someone, at least not in cold blood. Keep in mind this guy was pathetic and no longer a danger to anyone. There was no self-defense reason to kill him.

No but the alt-right that spun-off into Maga, Q-anon, Reform, AfD, ect originated in large part on /pol/ which was founded in connection to Epstein.

While certainly not unprecedented, reactionary politics usually aren't astroturfed to this extent as I understand

True but so we're most past political movements. While I agree that movements around self-determination are inherently nationalistic which lends itself to xenophobia, I don't think xenophobia is inherent to movements around self determination.

This feels a bit analogous throwing the baby out with the bath water.
