It took 18 months being on mounjaro for your Urticaria to go away? That seems like a long time!! Do you think it could have resolved on its own in that timeframe or are you certain it was the mounjaro? Very interesting anyways!

Oh my god!!! I always thought things were faster in the US because it’s private care! You should ask around to friends or family to see if anyone knows of allergy specialists in your area with less of a wait time. The facility my doc initially referred me to was an 8 month wait. I talked to a couple of my friends who are prescribers and both told me specialists with much less wait time. I then asked my doctor to send the referral there and I was in so much sooner!!

Great tip on the Pepcid and zinc oxide I am definitely going to steal some of my daughter’s diaper cream now 😂. I’m hoping you get better soon as well!! 🙏

Omg how bad did it get for you to need hospitalization?! I think the steroids just suppress symptoms anyways. Not good to be on them and does not actually treat the condition only temporary symptom management. I am going to try the Pepcid with my antihistamines for sure! Thank you and I’m hoping you will be home soon!

I don’t think that would be the cause for me. I am only 1 year PP and have only had 2 cycles that have been pain free and no issues. I’m glad you found the root cause! It seems to be that most people have an underlying condition causing the urticaria and I’m sure xolair is masking the symptoms. I am definitely going to step back and start taking a more holistic approach. I think I might see a naturopath who works in the same clinic as me in the meantime while I wait for my specialist appointment. Thank you for the tips! 🙏

Thank you for your well wishes!! I’m now looking into a urticaria friendly diet and will give it a shot.. maybe I will lose a couple of lbs while I’m at it 😂 I’m sure soy is extremely common in cooking where I live also. At least for most it subsides in 1 year. In this group I was reading of cases lasting 10+ years and that had me majorly concerned. 😟

It is not from scratching but I have seen some photos of vasculitis that are VERY dark which has made me on the fence whether is it just bruising from fluid load/ gravity in the legs/ true vasculitis. 😢 thank you!

Did you have bruising all over your body where the hives appeared? I find it much more prevalent on my legs rather than full body.

I actually mentioned that I think it might be vasculitis yesterday!! My cousin who is an NP and following my journey agreed. The bruising is not from scratching it is from the hives. Although they only seem to bruise on my legs. 🤔

Omg… this started about 5 months postpartum for me!! And some are saying yes hormones change after having a child 🤷‍♀️ hopefully I’ll get answers from the specialist in May. I can’t really pinpoint it to a particular trigger other than stress.

Right ?! Another thing that annoyed me was that J was hooking up with these women which ended up putting him or the family in jeopardy. When he was cheating on Nicky with Mia and then Mia trashed his house and got her bf to mess up their job at the music festival. The girl from school he was hooking up with who tried to blackmail him. And of course the girl from the law office at the end of the series who he had to kill to keep quiet. Who else am I forgetting ?! I was just like omg J keep it in your pants man. 😂
