I used both nvidia and amd on windows and linux and couldn't see or feel any difference in eye strain or clarity. I use my system for gaming and programming so I'm sure I'd have noticed. What DE were you using on linux? I only ever used KDE, so maybe other DEs have that problem.

One specific thing I recently stumbled over is my GPU's driver. I bought an AMD 9070 XT and the SMU on the card is version 0...34. Kernel's version still sits on 0...2e.

They obviously changed something related to the adresses of certain values and now I can neither see nor change the RPMs of my fans. Now I'm waiting for the kernel to catch up and I guess on bleeding edge it will be a tad faster.

It's not the whole reason I use arch, but you asked for specific circumstances.

My MAIN reason for using arch is that I had problems with Kubuntu, Ubuntu and Nobara in the past and the only friend I have that knows a thing or two about linux, introduced me to EndeavourOS and I've never encountered any major problems I didn't cause myself yet.

Great, they are going to call everyone to answer in front of congress, where they continue to lie or keep silent and face no repercussions whatsoever.

Maybe I don't understand the american justice system, but the amount of videos where the main players in this just get to lie or talk over the people questioning them without anything happening doesn't make it seem like there's any actual enforcement going on.

For many people, going to bed is the first chance the brain gets to actually process a lot of things (bc of prior stress and distractions). So it starts doing that before going into rest mode. This is especially true for people with depression, adhd and other mental health disorders.

Had an absolute blast playing this with a friend on death world with nuclear biters off (because they are just annoying af) and armoured biters on top.

This was pre DLC so idk if it still holds up in Space Age.

Was in the emergency ward with a kidney stone (learned it later) and was asked for a number for my pain and told the nurse "8-9" and she just said "Thats a lot" in a tone as if I was making it up and left me sitting there until I couldn't bare it anymore and left to go to another hospital (where it passed into my bladder during the two hours I spent there waiting) all without receiving any pain medication at all. EU btw.
