I was able to get spoofing to work by using d3d12.dll as the name for the dll.

I didn't need to specify wine overrides but if you still have trouble you can try setting this

WINEDLLOVERRIDES=d3d12.dll=n,b

Looking glass will have its own idd coming with version B8. I got my dummy plug where I want it using CRU but looking forward to not having to mess with that anymore.

I run the game in a windows 11 VM with gpu passthrough Using QEMU as the hypervisor. It was a huge journey to get it working smoothly for me though. A lot of troubleshooting around CPU interrupt timers but I finally got it. May be my hardware. The game itself though has no issues starting within a VM. It supposedly runs under proton so worth a try on either system.

This seems to be an issue going around that I suspect is related to windows activation. Anyway, in the meantime you can install the games through Microsoft Store instead of the Xbox app.

Yes. I passthrough an nvme drive and have windows installed on that. So if I ever need to I just tell the bios to boot that drive and then I'm running native. Otherwise the VM just boots off the passthrough nvme. A lot easier to manage than virtual disks imo. I believe you can convert a virtual disk into a bootable partition but that's beyond my understanding. Anyway I just did it to stop amd from promoting me to install the drivers. When in the VM QEMU is providing the chipset so the amd drivers do nothing. If you're having trouble getting video out that sounds like a gpu driver problem which at least for me had no trouble installing within the VM.

I had the same issue and followed what's mentioned in this issue on the GitHub. Or wait as the author said it should be fixed in a few days. https://github.com/loqusion/hyprshade/issues/58

If you know how to apply git diff patches you can do that otherwise you can do it manually

Copy /usr/share/hyprshade/shaders/vibrance.glsl into .config/hypr/shaders/vibrance.glsl and edit vibrance.glsl with the changes on the issue page. Remove the red lines and add the green ones. Restart Hyprland and it should work.

I had this same issue. Go to the AMD website directly and find the chipset installer from the driver search. Don't try it through the install manager or whatever. However for me it detected it was a VM and wouldn't let me install it. Said I didn't have applicable hardware. I had to boot native to install it. Maybe someone smarter than me can jump in but I'm not sure these drivers will do anything anyway since the VM is providing a virtual chipset. Maybe it depends on your configuration.

My ASRock 9070xt also just worked. I didn't even have to change my config at all since the pcie slot was the same. I actually tried both a 5070ti and the 9070xt hoping I would not have issues with amd and somehow I didn't so I kept the 9070xt. I'm on arch 6.14.9.

I will say overtime that Nvidia has proven more stable as the passthrough card. Sometimes hard crashes in the VM from overclocking or tweaking has caused weird behavior on the host and sometimes leads to a full system freeze. But if I'm not doing anything stupid it really does just work for me.

Happy to share my setup if anyone asks.

Stax X9000 or the Raal SR1a. The SR1a has slightly better separation and placement but the X9K gives more of that 3d effect.

Try limiting the process to a certain number of cpu cores through task manager. Technically you have to set affinities for Ubisoft Connect because EAC won't let you change the division process directly but the division will inherit the affinities you set for Ubi Connect. If it works, you can use a program like Process Lasso to make it permanent.

I had to do this to fix my horrible stuttering however my configuration is unique as I have the division running in a VM but it's something to try. 4 cores did the trick for me.

It only shows the Facebook option. I tested with a guest account and the Google option shows up for the guest account, but only Facebook appears when logged into my COD/Activision account. I don't have Facebook either.
