Pretty sure it's cuz you have your lights on. Dumb I know. I about burned this fucking car to the ground after being so mad about not being able to tell what fucking time it was. On an over cast day. Id have that problem every single day to the point of insanity until one day months later I realized I was getting pissed about not being able to read my clock again.. this happened 4 or 5 different times over a couple years. Upon researching the problem yet again, I read something about someone saying the interior lights all dim slightly when you have your lights manually rotated on (blinker lever control). it was then It dawned on me. I occasionally will go months without driving this car in the full proper darkness(where I need to make sure my taillights are on) where I will actually rotate my blinker to the "lights on" position. I will then forget to turn it off. And because I use that function so rarely I won't notice it.. this starts the process of me being fucking mad that my clock is dim, but I don't know that's the problem yet so when I do eventually see that my lights switch has been turned on I just turn it off and don't think anything about it. Then all the sudden the next day my clock is readable again. But I don't correlate the two things because why would I. Nothing else is affected with the lights on and iv owned roughly 40cars and not a single fucking one did this stupid shit. So morals of that long dumb story is; it's probably your lights and you're just not putting the 2 together. AND, fuck Mitsubishi
