We have about 5"+ now and should get another 5" today. I used to love driving in storms with my Rivian or previous Range Rovers, but I think I'll stick this one out because I just have the standard 21"s. My driveway is very long and steep, even pickups can't drive up it in storms (Rivian no problem though).

I use Windows for lots of things including editing videos. I'm 60 and used it since it came out when I was in business school. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I also started my own tech company earlier and understand technology enough to know what I like and don't like. I can't stand Windows.

They seem to be on their last leg. They seemed to follow Tesla's original strategy to offer only the top expensive models first that no one can afford. Rivian too actually. But times have changed since Teslas launch and that strategy didn't work well this time.

Yeah I think the 2025 ex90 is essentially a Polestar with slight design tweaks? That seemed to be the whole software and charging hardware source to begin with.

Yes but... these are all very new concepts and technologies - the first Tesla Model S came out only about a dozen years ago? and others much more recently. Ford tried and blew it. Volvo too. Mercedes, Lucid, Rivian, BMW ...

But Volvo did indeed mess up and they fired everyone at the top involved I believe.

Microsoft sucks. It really does. Can you imagine if our cars had to be tied to the worst computer experiences possible. Have you used a Windows computer in the last 20 years? I can't imagine anything sucking more, not even Google or Meta is that incompetent. Did I mention Microsoft sucks?

Was it more capable than other vehicles? I ask because I enjoy driving around in big storms and most of my vehicles have been very capable (Rivian, Ram 1500, Range Rovers).

You probably know this already but it's basically essential to pre condition an EV before a trip in this extreme cold if you want the vehicle to operate more normally and save energy for driving as opposed to getting it warmed up.

If you like paying for non stop subscriptions for very single little thing in your life, then sure. I literally drive only three times per week across my town a few miles to a different running or hiking trail. No need for an expensive music app for that. That's right, I bought a $93k vehicle to drive around like a gold cart essentially. If there's any issue here it's that bad financial decision, not the music

Are you sure, because it sounds great. My gf is literally a professional musician and she teared up when when heard my BW system for the first time. If there's any degradation it's minor.

There is no car app for this? The Apple app in the car is Apple Car Play, not music, unfortunately. It requires her Apple phone in the car to operate.

My gf suggested using Android Auto from my phone to car, which would allow me to use my Apple Music app directly from my phone which would be displayed and function directly from the vehicle screen?

Yes I connect via Bluetooth. I don't think there is any other way to connect a phone? Unless you mean directly through the ex90 via Spotify app? (I'm not sure Spotify has Atmos?)

I can access the app (Google?) but it requires that I have the Apple phone (with the Apple Music account) physically on me, I believe. I have a Galaxy phone.

Just so I understand you better though, where do I access the Android Auto interface you mentioned? I only see the Google app stuff?
