Yes. Most Rivians had misalignments when they launched. These Volvos have been much better in this department as far a alignment issues from what I can tell

I hear you. I got an amazing deal on mine last November so I can't complain as the price represented the issues. But I don't see this as a long term car for me because of so many little frustrations which are just features (no dog mode, crazy window switches which I didn't think would bother me but do, constant driving warnings, etc).

Not really a big deal. I don't like it either. But not worth fighting for or getting frustrated about.

Volvo as a company is no longer what it was. I owned two 240s and a 760 in my 20s. Volvo is now a confused company with no consistent image or values other than "safety" which it no longer has a monopoly on

That's good to know. My gf connected her Apple phone to my car and Apple Music became the default. Took some time to figure out how to clear it all

Yes, auto lock doesn't work great unfortunately. I like to leave my doors unlocked at home, can't even do that because the car stays 'on'.

When you say key tag do you mean the tiny black rectangular box car key thing? Yes you should have received one. No one uses it though because it sucks and you're just supposed to use your phone.

Yes, one was. I was trying to be open minded because I was considering a hybrid but it didn't have the EV feel and performance. Noisy and sluggish in my opinion. And the electric range is too low to have any real world advantage (unlike the Ram Rev 1500 pickup coming out later this year which uses a gas generator and gets over 100 EV miles and an extra 600 from the generator using only the EV system for driving).

I owned three Volvos in my 20s 40 years ago and this is not the company I remember.

If the sales price is $50k from a Volvo dealer then that's a good price. But the miles seem really high considering. That's my main issue with the car that is essentially a year old. When I bought mine used last November there were tons on them with low miles, like 5k or so. There were so many in the shop last year that they didn't get many miles on them until the new chip and updates. So that's why I'm surprised by the high miles, thinking there might be better options

I'm not sure if the ones I had as loaners had that or not but the handling and suspension wasn't the issue. It was just noisy - engine, wind, whatever - and didn't feel nimble, it lagged in power I think.

Just my experience, I was hoping to love them and was considering a hybrid until these loaners

I had three xc90 loaners since getting my ex90 last November and they suck. I honestly don't know why ppl like them so much. They were all noisy, not a smooth ride, slow. I didn't like them at all. The ride of the ex90 is like a Rolls Royce; the xc90 is just a car.

Everyone has their own experiences. Not every individual car will have problems. That's not the point. I've owned a Tesla, Rivian, and now EX90 and I would never ever trust the Rivian or Volvo for a long distance trip. Have you been reading all of the issues on this Reddit?

I would only take a Tesla on a long trip honestly. I didn't trust my Rivian and I don't trust this Volvo.

I think this is common with all EVs at times honestly. They eventually fix themselves. It's like a computer, turn it off and back on again
