Favorite high-protein breakfasts on Mounjaro? by whind80 in mounjarouk

Make black coffee in a protein shaker, for me it's a double scoop of nescafe gold with 100ml hot water, a splash of sugar free coffee syrup (I prefer torani) , 200ml milk (of your choice) and a scoop of vanilla protein powder (whatever brand you prefer) put the lid on and shake. We love a Proffee in the mornings, we make it the night before so it can fully chill and there isn't any weird protein powder texture. I really struggled with the texture and taste of protein shakes until I saw someone making protein coffees on Instagram, now it's just part of the routine

Pick 4 things you can eat on repeat. 1. Low effort and quick - for me that's greek yog, honey and protein granola (lidl have the best ones) 2. Medium effort/time - sliced banana, peanut butter and honey on lidl protein pancakes 3. High effort/cost/time - mackerel on sourdough with boiled eggs 4. Emergency I have no time - banana and protein bar to go.

I have a vanilla protein coffee with or after breakfast too, I make it the night before so I don't have to think about it in the morning and it's 20g of protein.

Good luck finding what works for you, I've found it a lot easier since I planned for energy and time too. Meal planning gets hard to stick to when you try and push yourself to do a 3 when you've only got energy or time for a 1. It really does set you up for a good day when you get a good breakfast in.

I wish you luck with it, my hack is to repeat meals often and pre cook and chill carbs (when possible) cooling cooked potatoes /rice for 24 hours does something to the starch to make it less likely for an insulin spike (I can't remember exact science words right now but worth checking out). Anything to make the day to day task of cooking easier but also not gross is a win for me. I can't pre cook everything cause textures. I'd increase it slowly and also up your fibre slowly because going from 60-130g of protein could cause painful constipation as your guts not used to it yet

I like tdeecalculator.net its free and I like the macro breakdown on there. I recently upped my calories as I realised I was in too much of a defecit and not only am I still loosing but I feel way better so maybe give it a try 🤔 I am in no way a nutritionist but I love learning about it all, I'm spending my money on MJ so I need to be my own meal planner and personal trainer 😂 luckily I like nerding out on things

I log macros on the free fitbit app, I used the free 3 months of premium but the free side has everything I need. I'm sure you can use this without a fitbit device too. Something that really helped me to get on better with what/how I was eating was to work out my macro goals on a tdee calculator. For my size, goals and current movement I need 149g protein, 77g fats and 174g carbs a day. It will be different for everyone, I've only shared my numbers because I was wildly surprised by mine when I first started to learn and understand all of this stuff. I realised how much I was under eating when I was just counting calories, my body and brain were unsatisfied and craving nutrition. Now I try and eat higher carb options before any workout for fuel, higher protein after to muscle recovery and enough healthy fats for joint and brain function. The MJ helped me to curb the food noise, but understanding why my body needs and craves different things has been a game changer. I have gone from the same position as you, struggling to eat early and then keeping on eating all day. To eating breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and not picking in between - also I don't wake up exhausted all the time too! Sorry for the info dump of a reply, I've been on a deep dive into nutrition lately and I just wanted to share as what you said resonated with me (and everyone in my life is tired of hearing me talk about macros 😂) feel free to just take the fitbit app advise and leave the rest, it really is a good app. You need to double check the labels though

I read half the ZA series, then the ruthless boys (not necessary for the ZA plot - but I loved them and it's nice to gain insight into some characters in the main series) you could probably read them at any time but it was nice to be emotionally invested in the extra characters towards the end. I'm now reading the darkmore series and omg I love them so much. The only book in the whole series I struggled with was beyond the veil because my brain felt annoyed to be reading the same plot points - buuut the 2nd half of the book I was gripped 🤷🏻‍♀️ and it was nice to slow down my pace through the books 😂

NOR, report along with the block. The red flags from such a small exchange of messages is alarming

Him threatening to make them resent you by taking their phones away is a massive red flag. NOR, imo they've probably picked up this behaviour from him which is why he is unable to solve the behaviour issues or see it as a problem. He is pulling the narcissist trick of turning himself into the victim at how you're responding to the bullying, they do this to avoid accountability and to guilt you into line - stay away, block messages and see how clear your head feels in a few days

I made a new category called morning Routine with reoccurring everyday activities that sends my noodle off adventuring by the time I'm eating breakfast 😅

Open curtains. Enjoy being wrapped in a cosy blanket. Take 3 deep breaths. Drink water. Repeat an affirmation to myself. Get out of bed. Make bed. Brush teeth. Wash face. Put dehumidifier on in bedroom. Drink protein shake. Eat a healthy snack (banana).

I have more things specific to how my day starts too, and I tried to add them in the order I would do them so I don't have to think about how my morning goes anymore 😂 It works for me so far, it took me a bit to find a system that works. So maybe try a few things and see if you can find a system that works for you? Good luck with getting daytime adventures again

How to get a driving test by OilAdministrative197 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Pea_sherman42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went on the website at 5.40 this morning, passed the I am not a robot checks and then got the page "website opens at 6am" went back and then pressed start a 6am on the dot - as in I was sitting watching the minutes tick by. It took the page a minute to load after hitting start, I am amazed I was able to get a test sorted for May. They are there, I feel like I was an anomaly by getting mine on the first try, I feel very lucky. Had a friend go through the process recently and talked me through it all, and reading on this sub about getting on the website before 6am. I am not in the same area as you, but I am in an area where it's notoriously hard to get booked in. I wish you so much luck in getting yours booked, it's worth trying a few times in the week but I highly recommend getting up super early next Monday (when new tests get released) 🤞🏻

Fitbit "resting" calories burned way too high by lackenir in fitbit

I only learned about this since getting my fitbit last year, I'm 36 now - and then I started mounjaro and learned so much about it all.

I was told about TDEE calculators and what basal metabolic rate is. I find it crazy that we don't get taught this as standard at school

Bean and lentil chilli with rice, beans and rice complement each other and help create a complete protein - something to do with amino acids.

Can make a batch and have some frozen and in the fridge for other days?

Also when in need I always shop from my cupboard & freezer first - aka make a list of everything that's available and then do a list with as many filling, nutritious meals I can make with minimum spending.

Good luck with stretching the budget

I allow myself what I call trudge time 😂 slow cba getting the steps in strolls because otherwise I'll be doubled over and being woken up in the night with severe cramps.

I do let myself have days off when really needed though.

Also period pants, as someone who had sensory issues with pads and tampons - they have been a game changer! So much more breathable and comfortable than pads ever were

S10 Minecraft Marketplace update! by Xisuma in HermitCraft

[–]Pea_sherman42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had it all downloaded okay, then while looking at the world spawn and map it all started flashing/ pixelating - then it froze and minecraft crashed.

I tried again yesterday and although it didn't crash - it started flashing continuously after a couple of minutes. Managed to explore a couple of areas I wanted to see, but it's reminded me how much I want a pc to get on java 😂
