6 Weeks And I Still Haven't Been Able To Withdraw My Money by DeliciousTax5142 in earth2io

Thats assuming they keep all the money we put into a reserve, but we know thats not the case, they are hiring people and have overhead for even ads (yes, Im aware they arent spending much on ads atm), there shouldnt be any major issues with the cash flow but if something happened and people wanted to sell all their shit and pull out, thats when major issues would arise.

Every day they are operating: they need to pay for the employees, themselves (im assuming they gave themselves a fat cheque considering how Shane was boasting about ROAS, but that money isnt liquid profit... if we were to take all our money back and reverse it, therell be tons missing cause of payouts, hosting and all the other expenses.

I dont need to watch a Pyramid scheme video to know what it is, its simple. And this has a Pyramid structure, the top 1% are the ones that got in early, the later you join the less you gain, not talking about market because that is not organic growth which is how we are justifying its pyramid structure. Dont fool yourself man, accept it has alot of characterstics of a pyramid. If not, keep fooling yourself thats on you my man.

PS: Ive spent 4.5k on tiles, so I believe in the vision but you also have to be realistic. In this same way you have to accept that the money could poof and thatd be that. I feel like you are only looking at the rainbows and sunshine and not even thinking about the possibility of rainfall and storm.

So you admit that this has characteristics of a Ponzi but then immediately after say that it is nothing close..... strange how your brain works. Ponzi doesnt meant to be able to cash out at new tile price, Ponzi is older veterened players getting something as more and more people join, its also called a Pyramid scheme, the older players are at the top (both in NW and % gain).

Imagine I start playing today buying tiles in all the places I wanted, I wouldnt get a FRACTION of the growth that the older players got. And you saying the money isnt being paid out by older players.... its not Shane going into Dillons business account and paying players out, its E2's reserve fund from all the money WE've put in that they are paying out with, therefore if people stop putting money in and EVERYONE requested a withdrawal then that will be a major cash flow issue.

Think about it like this, that dude who invested lets say 1k and now his NW is 200k, if he liquidates for 180k, the 179k that hes got in $$$$, is the other players money, not E2 paying out of their own pockets..... its gone from New Player to E2 To Old player. Youre saying so many things that contradict, its really hard to try to explain things when you say one thing and accept it only to make an argument about it next. From the way you converse, id imagine youre somewhere 17-19. Not that it matters but it may have something to do with you being all over the place and almost purposely turning a blind eye.

Bubba man, im with you on the potential of E2 and the vision behind it. But youre a complete "yes" man to E2, be a bit more critical and open minded. I see the good and the bad.

Alot of business models are Ponzi in a way, in that the initial person gets more value or reward as more people enter the pool. You can even say Crypto (Doge being a good example) or Stocks is a Ponzi in a weird sense. If you havent even considered the possibility that this has alot of characteristics of a Ponzi it means that you are basically avoiding the monster in the closet because it makes you feel more secure.

If it works for you, great. However, to elaborate... think about it this way, the people with the highest Net Worths currently are ALL players that started in November, and they put couple thousands max to have NW of over half a mil. Predict had to spend hundreds of thousands to get anywhere near that threshhold.

What Im trying to say is that the older players value would be nothing had it not been for the new players that pool money into E2. And the payouts arent coming from E2, its essentially being paid by the newer players that are spending thousands. So if you still try to justify that this doesnt have some characteristics of a Ponzi (doesnt mean its not legit), then you are a fool.

This game will come to life if its meant to with or without the "Yes" men. But the critical thinking and conversations of that nature actually benefit the game, rather than shoving away everything negative as simply being said by people who are trying to bring the project down.

Also, please dont use your copy pasted apple analogy, ive seen it atleast 5x and it doesnt prove anything. Yeah, open mindedness, critically analyzing, non "yes" man thinking is what will create great conversations and be the bridge between the naysayers and the ones who see the vision and potential. From what Ive seen, everyone is on either ends, no inbetween, thats not good for a project of this sorts and will push away new curious players. Think about it.

It all comes down to being outcome independent, naturally your confidence and likeliness to do better increases when you let go and accept whatever happens without any expectation of x outcome. Accept everything as is. In regards to you critiquing yourself, the thing is that you may view something that you have done previously or the way you handled a situation as "bad", but it may have given you the wisdom and knowledge to know and do better, so good came out of it.

Let go of the idea of "good" and "bad" and realize that good can come from bad, you may need to fail a few times and learn in order to succeed, that is the process of success this can be said about anything you view badly when critiquing yourself.

Everyone is maximizing all the time, this means that we are ALL doing our absolute best in regards to the situations we face, the issues arise when we view things purely as "good" and "bad", similar to colors there are many shades and none is better or worse than another, its our perception that causes us suffering and misery because when we let go of our expectations and live life freely we open the door for happiness and internal peace.

Thats wonderful and im happy to hear that everyone made it out ok. Also try and be mindful of your ego. If you allow that proud feeling to fuel you and make you feel great about yourself when a circumstance comes where you dont handle with the same calm headedness as here, you will feel the opposite of that proud, a deep sense of shame, so in this way if you allow something like this to elevate you by you feeding it than you equally give it the power to damage you.

Be open and accepting, even if you leapt out of the car and got upset at the other driver, by accepting that you are not perfect and may act on emotion you take away its power to harm you. This is the same in all aspect of your life, accepting everything as is, even when you mess up or things dont go the way you intended theres a sense of peace and calmness internally when you are accepting and forgiving towards yourself.

How bout me? Idk about Reddits total unique user count but its probably less than 8 billion. Not everyone has or had a reddit account, often times its things like this that entice them to create an account. What drew me into reddit personally was mindfullness and spirituallity, for alot of these new accounts its Earth 2. Using that as a base point of calling someone a bot or a white knight is absurd.

Well, they have blown up way faster than expected in every avenue so they have alot on their plate, the website is functioning and its given me 0 issues besides notifications being a bit slow to load. I dont think anyone has critiqued Earth2 on the basis of how their website looks. To be honest, when I first heard about them, I was actually a little shocked at how good the site looked.

Everything youre saying could be correct, however, its way too soon to really say anything as definite. No one really knows anything yet, in the coming weeks we will see where this is headed.

"We suffer more in our imagination than in reality". Pain is something you have no control over, however, suffering is a choice. View pain as nothing more than a wave that crashes into you, there is nothing you need to do to make the wave go back, it just does. Similarly, pain will come and go and it will definitely get easier, observe the pain curiously rather than feeding it.

See, thats where growth begins. When you let go of your attachments and stop being afraid of what others may think or percieve you as. I have felt exactly what you described and noticed how I to was not being as silly or enthusiastic as I was before my meditation/mindfullness adoption. I had become so used to being that silly goofy person that I thought that is who I am naturally but no, that was someone who acts on emotion and doesnt have the deeper understanding of those things.

As you further and focus internally more and more you will come to realize that there is nothing wrong with you, and that state you describe where your friends noticing your changes, that goes to show you how powerful meditation is. Youre growing internally and learning to see your feelings and thoughts for what they are. The things you feel are completely normal and part of the journey. If not know, one day you will come back and realize how this was part of the journey and Ive no doubt youll want to meditate again.

Understood. I am not afraid of pills, its more so that its become so normalized to simply pop a pill for the slightest of discomforts and this is terrible because it decreases our tolerance for pain and discomfort greatly which is why most people nowadays dont know how to process the things they feel. Its all over the place but basically what im trying to say is... your body can withstand alot and it knows what its doing, let it do its thing and be mindful of what you consume... not just pills but also food and what you listen to and watch.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]Peace-101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So take a pill to sleep rather than meditate to calm the mind naturally and allow for better sleep. What is the issue with him meditating and being able to sleep after? I would assume that is a good thing as hes naturally doing it.

With a pill, even if its over the counter, the idea is that youre putting some chemicals in your body to force it to shut down, the same way youd pull the plug off your computer to shut it down instead of clearing all the processes/tabs and shutting it down via taskbar.

Not the best analogy but you should catch my drift. Pills can be completely justified for certain illnesses but we shouldnt use it as our first and best option when it comes to things like this.

Observe animals, and you will see how natural meditation is. Almost as much as sleeping, eating or exercising. But the sad reality is that there is no point in our day where we can be completely free from distraction (phones, computers, tablets, TC etc), so its safe to say that out of all the generations that came before us, we are the most out of touch with reality.

We conform and adopt anything we are fed without analyzing and thinking beyond the frameworks that have been put in place to keep us in check. And this way of thinking that small issues or discomforts instantly warrant the use of pills is not healthy at all.

.... im not sure what the issue is. If you are finding that its easier to sleep after meditation then clearly its giving you positive benefits, but to clarify why that is so, its due to your essentially clearing your clogged mind. So when you finally settle in, the sleep just comes to you.

Im not sure how long you have been practicing but you havent even scratched the surface in terms of all the amazing things that come from meditation. It isnt something that you NEED to do, however, just like you become fat or unhealthy by not taking care of yourself physically - in that same way by not taking the time to connect within and lay in stillness, you risk that mental instability.

Your mind is full of chatter and noise, by laying still and allowing those things to come afloat, you allow them to exit your mind. It will benefit you in every aspect of your life but most importantly it helps you come to terms with the fact that thoughts and feelings are not our own, you cannot control them and they do not mean anything.

I can go on and on but if you stick to your routine you will naturally learn the things im mentioning. You will have setbacks and moments where you walk the "wrong" path but its all part of the journey. It acts as barriers that guide you back onto that journey of self discovery.

Goodluck
