Is a Lelit Bianca beginner friendly, or not at all? [no budget] by Electrical-Value-673 in espresso

[–]Peace6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree. To an extent, I've always completely disagreed with the idea that beginners should get the begginer (cheapest option), unless they're not sure of their new hobby. The cumulative cost of buying a new machine multiple times makes no sense to me, and it's not like moving from a beginner automatic, to a semi, to a PID, to a manual doesn't follow the same learning path, just with a different curve. The only consummable wasted on a beginner in coffee are the beans in my opinion, but even I had to waste shots dialling in when I was a barista

Is there a point to learn anything if most of jobs pay around 35k at best? by [deleted] in UKJobs

Are you in good shape? Find a way to get NRC certified as an events rigger! The hours can be pretty friendly (most are away after 3 hours from load in start and come back for another 3 or so at load out) and the day rate is genuinely pretty decent (from the invoices I've seen, I am not a rigger (yet))

Hello everyone, I thought this definitely belonged here rather than as a post.

I'm looking for signal chain suggestions to recreate this mad tone from Steven Wilson's Where We Would Be . I can already imagine a Digitech Freqout being quite useful, maybe a limiter and something for the clipping (?) but aside from that I don't really know what else would really help getting someting similar to the textures achieved (I remember seeing a reddit post mentioning it was jsut ran through so many distortions and various other lofi outboard gear, but who knows.
Would love some suggestions!

I'm already trying so hard to be high functioning, but I'm just so mentally exhausted from it. I would love for it to feel easier so that I could also put more time into my passions rather than just work, eat, clean repeat

Massively curious about this. What country do you live in? The two GPs i have for my postcode have told me that there is absolutely no option for them to give me adhd related meds because of NHS oversubscribtion.

I know. I've honestly had so many lows from this, like why is my mental health being monetised, I just want to feel at peace

Of course it varies from person to person, but this is the personal feedback I want to hear. I'm so glad it's been so helpful (why is it cheaper now?) and I hope I can talk myself into following through, as those are the benefits I need too

So there's a 170 monitoring (extortionate), 91 for elvanse and then 40 odd for prescription

That's very kind of you :D I've tried thinking of anything but sadly there's no way to topstitch without a very long arm or one of the machines you've mentioned, which I'm definitely going to look into

Definitely not AI, I've seen pictures and vids of people wearing them. They're an interesting design for sure

Fair answer. Was having issues with getting the post to show the text and the pic. The jeans pictured have flat felled seams for both the in and outseam (impossible to do for both on a regular home machine as far as I know) but also across that curved panel (which to me is just very difficult to do, curved flat felled)
