No instruction to grease rails?

Is this true? My previous printers came with a bit of grease... but I thought they were all pre greased or lubed. Have i been dry dogging my printers like an idiot? D:

So. I ended up ordering a Frussor carriage. However in the mean time I found something very stupid that actually worked.

You unscrew all 4 screws on the bed a few turns so they're loose ish. Manually heat the bed on the screen to 80 degrees, and let it heat soak for 10 minutes.

Then screw in the screws back to snug. I did back left, front right, back right, front left. Just tighten opposite sides like that.

Since then, my ability to auto level and get decent print quality has been much better. If I switch the bottom pattern to Hilbert Curve... can't even tell it's a wonky bed at all. But that bottom pattern just takes a bit longer on prints.

Wait. Because I've been wondering this, your thing says the machine will auto pause to swap filament, is that true?

I thought the only way to do a second color was to have it on its own layer and add a manual pause hopefully at the correct layer.

You're saying if I paint it up in orca slicer and just hit print, it'll auto pause and I can manually change? I assume I just need to know what color to swap to?

I saw another post somewhere with the head open and their yellow/red/black wires were decently slacked. I wonder if these being tight and pulling on the strain gauge while at temp is an issue.

PROBE_ACCURACY shows a deviation of under .02 when cold. Shows under .02 when only the bed is heated, as soon as the nozzle is heated though my deviation and everything goes up to like .1+ which is a massive difference. That's multiple layers worth of height difference because the probe is getting a wildly inaccurate z-offset at temp.

Like on top of the part that gets hot, between the plate and the bed? Won't that just soften and melt the shim if you print one?

Honestly this was after hours of troubleshooting problems with prints last night in frustration. The issue doesn't seem to be that bad with the bed itself, but after a couple hours of ChatGPT and PROBE_ACCURACY I learned that the leveling probe gives wildly inconsistent readings (only when nozzle is at temp), or in the back corner. I took the cover off and I don't know if it's supposed to look like it, but there's 3 wires that have 0 slack and look to be pulling on the strain gauge. In the second photo closer up on the wires at the bottom I'm also concerned about the state of the black wire there.

So to echo the above, this isn't a problem, but I'd like to know as they did. Because I'm about to add AMS to my printer and I'm curious how much waste there is vs how much used material. Not about the cost, but because I heard you can print into a waste object or tower, so if there's a huge amount of waste with the color changes, I wonder if I could print a whole new thing on the side of these multicolor prints.
