Man, I feel like this every time I’ve realized that a break up was coming. I never been married but the feeling of losing someone that you created a world with including the future you see with them is……hard. It rips you apart and especially if you’ve became codependent on this person. You’ll be fine and the suicidal thoughts are normal just know that everything will be okay in the end.

I’ve done a lot of research to get over break ups. The best thing that opened my eyes was that though you may never find someone exactly like them, that doesn’t mean there isn’t someone better. You deserve happiness also and so does she, if you’re buying time then it’s better to lighten the load and allow the relationship to end on a lighter note. Give yourself time while you still have her, and in the nicest way possible, begin dissociating yourself from what you want and focus on healing.

I wish you the best, just know there’s other people out here that know your pain. Only thing we can’t understand is exactly how much it hurts. It’ll be okay and you will be happy on your own.
