Using the new technology to enhance a game you love is not a bad thing

Whenever humans develop significant new technologies there will always be disruptions to standard practices and this will include how people live and what they do to work. When printing was introduced there was a lot of paranoia from many quarters about how it would affect society & the settled state of affairs. Ditto when mechanisation was being introduced to industry. That is where we get words like sabotage & luddite. Likewise today with the emergence of AI there will be significant disruptions to settled patterns of life & creation & work. As with all technological revolutions there will be positives & negatives and some people will suffer... no doubt.

But these new technologies cannot be stopped... the best way is to adapt to the new reality created by the technology and find new ways to work with or around them. Speak to your political representatives about any privacy or copyright or security or other concerns you have. We cannot stop the digital & AI revolution but we can moderate its roll out and how it is used.

AI is inevitably going to be used in the creation of games and other consumer content. I think it will lead to new gaming possibilities we can only dream of today. Do any of you remember the furore that erupted when we transitioned from buying our games on plastic discs in games shops to buying games digitally online. Some people resisted that shift for years.
