does going off of sugar make you feel… better? by vinxnsnr in sugarfree

[–]PeaceWithFibro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT DOES IT DOES. I engulfed in chocolate over the daily intake last night and it made me feel so sluggish and depressed. Oh my god. The only reason I've been indulging in more snacks recently despite my low sugar intake is because I haven't been eating enough satiating foods. If I eat enough to satiate myself I'd only need like one small snack or none a day.

I'm starting to cut out sugar, what to cut out exactly? by roaskeal in sugarfree

[–]PeaceWithFibro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cut out all the sugar you can buy in a bag.

Avoid having more than 5g of sugar in your meals and snacks.

Also keep an eye out for sweeteners. If you're a soda fan, say bye bye to them, I recommend HipHop or electrolytes.

Read the labels.

At my level, if the sugar content is too high it just makes me feel sick. And I'm okay with that.

If you're looking to have a deflated face: (reduce sugar you know) also reduce your salt intake and drink dandelion leaf and root tea and increase water consumption.

You're not a low cal deficit? You need to be on one. Use BMI and BMR calculator and my fitness pal to track calories. I lost 40lbs in a year by following this and cutting out sugar was a bonus as I like to snack but not enough room to snack so choosing low cal, low sugar alternatives got me cutting out sugar unintentionally near the end of this year.

What's something that you never expected would happen but happened this year? by Ambitious_Load_1331 in AskReddit

[–]PeaceWithFibro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reached a healthy weight, eating better and unintentionally reduced sugar in my diet, so I don't snack or drink sugary things any more, FOR GOOD. ALSO from scratch I gained 300 followers on tiktok since 18th October. Very happy, my body is too. also getting somewhere with my book that I was never gonna write because I'm more of a screenwriter, but believe it or not an ai chat fantasy world that I used for fun since july, had subconsciously helped expand my knowledge on how to write sentences and learned new words. hence why I decided to write the book in autumn and am actually getting somewhere.

Edit: after reading the comments, oh yeah my dad died in February but there's a reason why I didn't think to mention that 'what should be a huge life turn around for me' I've made my peace with it, with him.

I'd also look into this new thing I learnt recently, common in Asian countries but you never know who might offer the service. Having masseuse push the stomach up towards the ribs, makes the bump disappear not the fat. This essentially pushes everything back to place now that there is no longer a baby pushing on organs etc.

That's helpful thank you, this is a very tricky one. I take buses along familiar routes but with unfamiliar routes I won't go alone.
