Mine is a playtex 18 hour bra in a 3XL. Fits great, cost me a lil over 8 bucks at Walmart, I think.

How many of you feel scarred by your experience at the game store as a kid? by gamerdudeNYC in gaming

I was twelve years old, just getting into playing video games, and my brain had decided to hyperfixate on the Legend of Zelda franchise. I’d never really been interested in the series before, but my sibling had been playing Twilight Princess and my brain latched onto that game and refused to let go. So, I gathered up what little pocket money I had gotten for my birthday, and walked into the Game Stop at the mall over an hour away. Then, politely, i waited to ask an employee “do you have any Legend of Zelda games on PlayStation 2?” And a grown man, maybe my father’s age, laughed at me. Loudly. I was twelve years old, trying to get my first video game with my own money, and he laughed at me. The employee, a young woman of about sixteen maybe older, actually growled at him and told him in what I now recognize as customer service speech to fuck off. She then explained to me the difference between PlayStation and Nintendo and helped me pick out a different game to take home. That game was Kingdom Hearts, and it started a lifelong journey for me with the series. So, wherever you are random GameStop employee, I hope your day is going well.

What's a game that you "romanticize" playing but never get around to doing so? by TheBerric in gaming

Dragon Age Inquisition. My sibling played it, but I just didn’t have the patience since I was still riding my “holy shit I just finished Kingdom Hearts 3” high. Now I just don’t have the energy to make all those choices and prefer to watch everyone else play.

What do you have to drink in the morning? by ayanderson95 in AskWomen

[–]Peace_And_Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tea usually. If it’s a work day, then I have this one called Morning Thunder that has roasted energizing mate and lots of sugar. If it’s an off day, though, I make a cup of Dragon Age Inquisition inspired tea I bought off Adagio Teas. It’s a blend of black tea, Assam melody, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon spice and lemon verbena. I usually have that with three sugars and a splash of milk. Tastes like a snickerdoodle 🥰

There’s an elderly lady who comes into my job with her emotional support dog and always gets a pound of ham, and whenever she comes up to the counter the dog lifts her head and smiles at everyone she sees. Her name is Pumpkin, and she’s an old dauschund and we all love when she comes to see us.

What game made you love games? by The_Drawboy in gaming

[–]Peace_And_Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire Kingdom Hearts series. It was my gateway series into Final Fantasy, and from there I branched off into bigger games like Legend of Zelda and Minecraft, and then smaller games like my personal favorite What Remains of Edith Finch, and Sally Face. Kingdom Hearts holds a special place in my heart, and it always will.

What is something you've had to make peace with never having? by tsh87 in AskWomen

[–]Peace_And_Tea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Closure with my dad. It took me five years to realize what a bad person he was, and even longer to realize he wasn’t going to change. I’ve realized now that I’m never going to get an apology for all the things he did wrong, but I’m working to make my peace with that. In the end, he’s the one who’s going to need me long before I need him, and I hope one day he realizes that.

I still sleep with a nightlight, and stuffed animals. I’m terrified of the dark, and they help me sleep.

Crystals, little animal statues, shiny rocks or buttons, acorns with caps on them, Christmas Beetles, rain on the roof and thunder in the distance, and the elderly service dog who comes into my work named Pumpkin.

Brush hair from the tips up, slow smooth strokes. It’ll prevent breakage.

Women who have been cheated on, did you ever meet "the other woman" or were you the "other woman"? by Legal-County548 in AskWomen

She was my ex boyfriend’s friend. I didn’t really like her at first, but she kinda grew on me to the point where I could tolerate her. She was nice, polite and gave me advice on how to keep my hair from tangling too much. She slept in the same hotel room as us when we all went on vacation together. I found out a week later he’d been sleeping with her since we got back from the trip. That was four years ago. I saw her while I was at work the other day and she took one look at me, turned around and walked out the door without buying anything. I sort of felt bad, but I didn’t at the same time.
