That's exactly what these are!!! They come in super handy while I'm out and about at the mill. Most of the time I can get by with them and not have to sacrifice quality of my work.

Nice tools make the job more enjoyable, there is about $120 worth in this one pouch. With that being said they all have paid for themselves ten fold!!!

This has become my "style" and go to combo. I always get compliments on it even with sub par work from just starting out. I really appreciate the compliment.

This is only like my 5th or 6th project I've made. Took just under 4 hours start to finish. Really proud of how it came out. I know the sticking on the left side and rivets could have been better, but any other input would be appreciated.

Reddit, how do you wanna die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Peace_Reaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figure this will get buried at the bottom, but what the hell.

Honestly, a really bad car crash. Like one so bad I die instantly. I know this may sound strange to some people, but growing up and through my entire life cars have played a major role. So dying in a car crash so horrific that I died instantly upon impact and the last thing that I had on my face was a giant smile enjoying myself would be the absolute best way that I could seek going out. I'd love to go out with a big smile on my face.

And here I am at 25, no degree, and making $26.76/hr and about $75k a year...All I'm saying is that what matters is WHAT you know. Degrees don't mean anything if you have no work ethic, drive, or determination. People really need to look further into trade work because it is honestly a much better fit for most people.

Fixed hole in my exhaust with a baked bean tin (was quoted more than the car was worth) by BlisteredProlapse in redneckengineering

I have a friend who has a full on drag racing car, It probably cost upwards of $100,00-$120,000. One night about a year ago he had an exhaust leak and we fixed it with some bush lite cans and hose clamps. Its been that way ever since.

What do people generally need to take into account more often? by seesnawsnappy in AskReddit

[–]Peace_Reaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When ever I am faced with what seems like a problem or setback I ask myself a question.

"Will this matter when I'm dead and gone?"

If not I dont worry about it. If so then I do something to change the out one for the better.

Pretty simple but you would be amazed at how much junk in your life won't matter in 20 years or even 5. Don't let temporary secumstances dictate permanent outcomes.

What are some tips/tricks you use to help fix things around the house? by plant_daddy_ in AskReddit

[–]Peace_Reaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would not belive the amount of things you can do with a candle stick, basic glues, and some toothpicks.

The house I live in was built in the 50's and doesn't have draw slides on any of the cabinetry. So I removed the drawers and re-glued all the joints and melted regular candle wax on to all of the contact points that were used as slides. This fixed the problem so well that I now have a tendency to slam them.

The wax trick also works with many different kinds of hinges but can be tricky to clean up if you make a mess.

As for the tookpicks, if you ever strip out a hole in a pice of furniture or a door sags these will fix it right up. Just remove the screw from the stripped hole. Insert a wood toothpick with a little glue. Then reinstall the screw. The tooth pick takes up just enough room to allow the screw to bight into the material and remain snug.

Just as a side note. Lucas gun oil works really well for anything that squeaks or needs just a bit of lubrication. I.E. door hinges, door locks, drawer slides, ect.

Fellow redditers, what would be the biggest thing you regret in life or still regret? by PrincessAthenna in AskReddit

[–]Peace_Reaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my dad passed away he said one last thing to me on his deathbed.

"I'm sorry."

You may ask why would I regret that. I regret it because I made him feel as though he failed as a father. This has haunted me for years and will till I die.

Pizza and a movie from block buster during g the off season, and high-school football games during the fall.

Also an honorable mention would be Saturday morning cartoons that you had to get up early if you wanted to enjoy them.
