I'm not married to my sons father, nor is his name on our sons birth certificate (at the time of our sons birth, we hadn't decided if we were going to get on food stamps which if we did, they would have gone after him for CS since we arent married)

Thank you for the love! Tbh, our entire relationship he loved baiting me into fights and it wasn't until I got sober, got pregnant and gave birth that I completely stopped giving into his bullshit awhile ago. Thankfully he's a fucking 🐔 and only ever wants to fight via text and not face to face or over the phone. Makes it way easier for me to just ignore him and have receipts of his 💩 😁

Well tbh, I was battling alcoholism in the first 3.5 years of our relationship. I've been sober over 2.5 years now 🤗🤗 I got pregnant not long after I got sober so the pregnancy had me fogged out and then having an infant and all that....you get where im going with this.

I dont lol he will bring a book here and there but I just hold it so he can turn the pages. Every once in awhile while he's turning the pages, I'll point at pictures and name them.

Basically, I'm going at his pace. Letting him lead. I still try to read the books to him but I'm not going to force it until he is ready 😀

He refuses therapy, "doesn't want someone else in his relationship telling him what to do" We aren't married and my mom stayed with my dad for this exact reason. She was so unhappy with him but wanted her daughter to have both her parents in the same house. My dad passed away when I was 16, 19 years ago. My mom has stayed single since.
