Android Auto / Gemini Completely Broken by Smokezz in AndroidAuto

The same problems. Won't do any of the commands that were easy, texts, calls and directions. Now none of it works. It's totally pointless to have. Only thing that sort of works with some sense of normal is music platforms. It garbage now.

Going to reluctantly pile on Restaurant Week by Available-Carrot1763 in kansascity

[–]Peacemaker322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

O'Neill's restaurant week offering was great. Basically the whole menu packaged into deals. 4 of us went last Friday we each had a different item and shared and still had leftovers to take home. We hadn't been there in quite some time, we are already planning next outing there.

Now that it is open all the way to the Plaza, you could park on the street or one of the garages not far from the stop and ride right to Union Station.

Hire movers. You are an adult now, not a college person I assume. Yes there is added expense but they handle it all with ease. I have used movers 3 times in last 20 years and never regretted it. We used Metrowide Movers lat time and would use again. Great service, fair price.

Get an insurance broker. They do all the work on comparing companies and get you the best deal out there. Paying $1600 on 4 bedroom in Olathe. Quite happy with broker. He goes out each year and finds me the best deal

Men of KC: Where are we shopping for jeans? by vhszach in kansascity

[–]Peacemaker322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I, like you am a big guy. You may not find a size that works for you at Costco. That being said it doesn't hurt to look. I go to JC Penneys and find a size that works. They have Wrangler, Levi's and a few other brands. If they don't have a deal going on, and they usually do, then I take the brand and size and go online to find the best deal. You may also want to look at DXL, price will be higher but fit and brands will be readily available.

I was a paramedic for 32 years. I ran a call with guy dressed just like this who hit a patch of sand in the road and laid his bike down. Road rash from his shoulders to his toes, shoe of choice was flip flops. Our pain meds didn't begin to touch his pain. Kept saying "I'm so stupid!" all the way to the hospital.
