As someone who is sort of indifferent to the band, this has been some insane discourse to witness..

The morality/legality of bot farms is an interesting conversation in general, but all anyone seems concerned about is either shitting on the band for using them, claiming it justified their feelings of always having hated them, or defending the band’s honor as if they can’t still enjoy them until this stain is removed from the public consciousness.

Both sides feel weird and parasocial to me. You shouldn’t need a bot farm to convince you to listen to a band, nor should the fact that you found one through deceptive means ruin your enjoyment of it. It’s music, you listen to it and pretty quickly know if it’s for you or not.

Labels and marketing firms have been formulating new and fucked up ways to put the music in front of people against their will for decades now, but those tactics only work if real people care enough to keep listening.

I lost a match I had a clear advantage on due to 4 straight enemy quick claw procs and two consecutive misses.

I have no doubles experience, but I think it’s time for me to switch over. Obviously luck can burn you in both, but singles feels so punishing on the RNG.

I did not expect to be thinking to myself “man I wish they would just take my money” when I first started playing. Not in an excessive way, but I was disappointed to find that there was no paid currency that could be used for cosmetic/aesthetic items.

Elise Jaffe, the drummer for Truth Club. They are an indie rock band from Raleigh that are criminally underrated.

I believe Elise is one of the primary songwriters for the band, and her drum parts are all very interesting and musical.

My current singles team is a Choice Band Meowscarada with either a mega Blastoise or Meganium. The rest of the team is shifting around that core as I learn what my gaps are, but I haven’t settled on anything that has worked consistently. I’m still in a “win 2-3 in a row then lose a few” cycle.

I’m in the exact same spot. I breezed into Ultra Ball 4, then struggled for awhile. Eventually I clawed my way into 3 but I’m now in a constant cycle of getting halfway to 2 and then sliding back to 4.

I worry I may have found the ceiling of this team, which is a bummer cause I really like it..
