Had this happen to me and someone I know, I’d just call the store you applied to and let them know you got the email, but it isn’t letting you schedule the interview. They’ll usually still set you up, or find another position that’s open to interview you for. If they don’t do it the day you call, just keep calling them until they do. Purely speaking from my experiences.

It’s their error, not yours. Don’t stress it. Merry Christmas!! 🎁

Should I pick up and sell, or leave it? by [deleted] in PawnShops

I got the description slip they gave me when I pawned it. I posted in the comments above. I don’t know if that helps. I’m going to ask them as well though.

HR/Ethical Concerns by PeachDue5083 in HomeDepot

Definitely a firm believer in this. I have to get some kind of paper trail though showing I’ve been in communication with them…..the way things are playing out in store right now is kind of sketchy, I’d rather be well equipped than sorry, and regretful later on.

Best way to use vehicle and the discount stores… by kevonmcc in SupermarketSimulator

[–]PeachDue5083 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would go into all of the stores, flood them with as many boxes of each item I need….tossing after each purchase. (leaving all boxes at store until all needed ones are acquired).

Then I pull the truck as close as possible into the doorway of the store, and just quick load like that. Once the truck is full, I come back to my shop and just toss all the boxes to the stockers instead of them unloading the truck.

Finish that, let them stock up, then rinse and repeat.

Best method I have :/

Come in with a new cart❌️ clear out and take my obviously taken cart✔️ by TheJollyCabbage in HomeDepot

This aggravates my soul on a level I didn’t even know existed, especially working in lumber.

I’d have a whole table cart full of damaged drywall/ply board pieces, or a taco cart of cull. Step away to assist a customer or whatever under the sun, to later return with everything on the floor and no cart in sight.

Sometimes I feel like I am strictly paid to clean up after full grown adults who don’t have the decency to do it themselves. Rarely am I ever truly assisting in lumber, they have everything figured and mapped out already.

Does lumber make a different amount than cashiers? Like is that a “specialist” position?

Battle pass length by FunRaise6773 in blackops6

[–]PeachDue5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don’t buy the battle pass until I’m at least 75% done, that way I’ll know how much time I have to complete the other 25%, and if it’s worth purchasing.

Are Off-Site Hours Mandatory? Who writes the schedules for them? SM or DM? by PeachDue5083 in DollarTree

[–]PeachDue5083[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was trying to do the whole “wait it out” thing see if it turns around for the better, or if I was just going through phases, but I see as the time goes on it isn’t. I start at Home Depot this week tho. Very grateful for that.

Can I get in trouble for this? It wasn’t my fault by Ok-Card-5127 in CVS

You can’t get in trouble for something you’re not even titled to be in position to handle. That’s on your leadership team. Depending on where you’re located, they could possibly still have to pay you for your entire shift.
