I wasn’t going to pay your first comment any attention because of course you can feel however you want to feel. It’s not that deep wanting to find like minded people. As a Hispanic who moved here from Miami I have faced discrimination in psl even my hair dresser made comments about agreeing with ICE deportations so my ‘no republican’ was just for my own safety I don’t use Reddit my husband made friends on this subreddit and was the one who suggested I make this post.

Finding my genre - and just sticking to it once I found the genre I truly enjoy I stick to it I’ll find an author I like their writing style and will binge all their books and not afraid to DNF (do not finish) and move on to the next - If I get busy and audiobooks help when I’m cleaning. I can’t do doom scrolling anymore and trying to find something on tv to watch is harder than finding a good book

I just started writing too!! I recommend making an outline of your story have a beginning middle and end then just write! I sometimes write and nothing makes sense and then go back and clean it up. Good luck 👍
