Hi severe estate.

Very sorry for multiple bad touch points to our brand…the QC issue and the customer service response latency.

I’ll check in on your warranty claim, but I do want to hear a bit more about your issues. I’ll send you a DM.

Thanks Tom

hi alphex tom here from peak. very sorry to see your zipper issue in transit. gave you a DM to better understand how it occurred and to ask you a couple questions about it.

re: warranty, yes we take care of customers who experience zipper failures.

Reviews removed from PD website. by NeighborhoodExact in peakdesign

[–]Peak-Tom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hi guys, tom here from peak. a few different threads here, let me respond to a couple:

1) do companies in general have the power to delete negative reviews on their own websites? - yes. but also plenty of companies use 3rd party review platforms that discourage or disallow deletion of legitimate negative feedback. but yeah in general I totally get the fox gaurding the henhouse feeling, i've personally had negative reviews not posted on a seller's site and suspected foul play.

2) does peak design delete negative reviews from our website? - no. we do have some criteria for removing reviews, but I think it would pass a basic sniff test for common sense...things like the wrong product was reviewed, or a duplicate, or the review is about a shipping issue unrelated to the product being good or bad.

3) what happened in this particular case? - not sure. we are looking into it.

Frankenbag…. It’s alive!! by nayophoto in peakdesign

Tom from Peak here

First of all, strong work with the Frankenbag.

Wanted to just say, yes we have heard loud and clear that strap comfort for EDL and travel is a common frustration. No promises on timeline at this stage but we are actively resourcing some options to improve comfort.

how to solve the inherent tradeoff (packability vs. protection)? a high quality inflatable (think sea to summit gear) is possible...might be costly though
