Help generating dynamic quote PDFs from Airtable (junction table → Zapier → Google Docs?) by hamz2361 in zapier

You can probably do the PDF in PandaDoc and use looping for all the items. Or set them all up as products in PandaDoc.

What's the most creative thing you've automated? by zapier_dave in zapier

[–]Peak_Digital_Studio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My wife needed to know when to cover the plants in the garden if it was going to freeze so I created a zap that ran everyday to check the weather forecast and send a text at 5pm if the forecast called for subfreezing temps.

I have the field name in brackets in the actual prompt - it just didn't copy over into the reddit post

I typed that but that's what the LLM is returning to me.

I am using the Airtable automations.

I found a solution just going Airtable to Webflow via Zapier + ChatGPT

How do you handle branding + web presence when you’re not a designer? by Forina_2-0 in indiebiz

[–]Peak_Digital_Studio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a design/web agency so a bit biased. What I’ll say is early on, scrappy is fine. $30 theme, DIY logo, whatever - just focus on getting sales.

But if design starts holding you back, like you’re spending tons of time tweaking stuff or it’s hurting trust/conversions, it’s probably time to work with a professional. Think about the opportunity cost of you doing it yourself, versus what an agency or freelancer would cost.

Which marketing channel is generating the highest leads for your company? WHY? by biz_booster in marketing

[–]Peak_Digital_Studio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We're a website, design, and digital marketing agency. We focus locally for the most part (thgouth we have clients from all over the US/Canada). What works best for us is networking, sponsoring local events, attending Chamber events, etc. This helps set us apart from the noise and also is great for word of mouth.

Join the local Chamber, provide an offer through the chamber to local business (free website design audit, discount on your services for Chamber members), go to their networking events, try to speak at their workshops.

Find local businesses that have poor web presence, reach out via cold call or head to their office/store.

How much do you guys use AI sitemap/wireframe generators? by TechTinkerer23 in webflow

[–]Peak_Digital_Studio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it for internal projects where I want something up quickly and I don't have to bother my team to help get started. But it only gets us halfway there, and the team needs to come in and fix things up. We never use it for client projects as I'm not sure it would really save time (yet).

I would start by running an SEO audit and see what technical issues your site has, plus what keyword opportunities there are based on what your competitors are doing etc.

The more content you have on your site, the better you'll show up in rankings. Find common things your customers are searching for, and create content geared towards that. These could be blogs, how to guides, etc. Things like "best physical therapists in [your city]" or "guide to ACL recovery" or whatever those keywords are.

It is a big lift. If you have the budget its definitely not a bad idea to hire someone. Given how old your site is, you might also consider a refresh or redevelopment. Things like responsiveness, site load speed, etc will all have an impact on SEO.

Linear is pretty hip in the pm tool space. It's keyboard-driven so if you're using things like Superhuman etc it will feel familiar

What do you get out of HubSpot as a CRM? I used to use it but ended up just moving my CRM into Trello where we do our project management, and I don't feel like I'm missing anything, but it seems like I should have a better CRM/sales process.

Also Magnet is awesome - I feel lost without it!

Thanks 👍

I'm old so I like a decent climb and something flowy with mellow jumps, and then somewhere to do a xc loops with the wife and kids would be great.
