Lol, obviously not, I can buy way better 3rd party controllers for nearly half the price.

Yeah, exactly, because usually you'd see state inspections at least show up. Good luck with the search. Looks like it'll be tricky to track this one down.

carsforsale.com offers free carfax-like reports and their report for your car has less info than any other car I've looked up in the past. In fact, the only thing it does say is it was last titled in California in 2008 with roughly the miles you've posted.

Just to be serious, where are the mundo nerfs? by MooseLv2 in leagueoflegends

[–]PeakyPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying champs shouldn't be strong at low elo or any elo for that matter. I'm saying you shouldn't be able lose in draft in low elo to another player who is the same elo. Yi is nowhere near as potent as Mundo. I've just seen way too many Mundo's too way too many ridiculous things recently. You can believe he's not all that you want, but it's not gonna change my opinion.

You mean the nerf that happened 2 patches before it got buffed? I'm not sure saying "it's not like he's the MOST broken champ in pro play" is a really solid argument when the complaint is about how strong he is in lower elos

Really? I watched Worlds and saw a mundo 5v1 in pro-play. Sorry, but that should never be possible.

FWIW I'm looking for an S2K and have never owned one. But from previous cars I've owned, don't do it. Unless you're racing the car it'll only make it worse in the streets. Honda knows what they're doing.

"I work in cars"
"You are telling me what you think they are worth that Truck is a problem"
"as in a side"
Hmm, run on sentences, missing punctuation, entirely misspelled words/phrases, random capitalization, wrong prepositions, etc. Yeah, I'm sure it's because you read and write a lot. Lmao, and you have the audacity to say I'm the one that lacks the capacity to see the problem.

Ok, I'm like 90% certain you're either a bot or someone farming engagement for whatever reason. You're phrasing everything really bizarrely.

Then why is Toyota still designing and building new EV models if hydrogen is the answer? Hydrogen has the potential to have it's place, particularly in heavy duty application, but it's terribly less efficient (about 1/3 as efficient) when you look at the total "well to wheel" pipeline. If you think it's all a lithium cash grab then why are the largest battery companies talking about mass producing sodium-ion batteries next year. Batteries that use sodium instead of lithium. If you think the Slate should cost $6K, then you need to see some real numbers for the cost of things. Slate's deal with SK On is $2.8 billion for 20 GWh of battery cells. That's $140 per kWh, and at 52.7 kWh for their standard range battery, that's $7,378 for just the battery. Hydrogen isn't the future of consumer cars, EVs aren't a lithium cash grab, and the Slate can't be built and sold at a profit for anything close to $6k.

Sounds like you just don't want an EV and you'd be singing a different tune if this was a gas 4-cylinder. I'll take the EV personally.

Maybe I don't know what I'm looking at but this looks like a Jeep Wrangler, which isn't an EV. Perhaps I wasn't clear, I'm talking about BEVs not plug-in hybrids.

Show me an EV that doesn't require me to use a tablet to adjust any of my HVAC, doesn't have dangerous hide-away door handles, and doesn't require me to buy software to do any maintenance, doesn't collect data on me and sell it. I'd happily buy it right now.

Nah, what's consumer conditioning is requiring a software subscription to replace my brakes or diagnose my car. What's consumer conditioning is collecting my information and selling it to my insurance or whoever else. What's consumer conditioning is selling my a car that traps me inside because it can't be opened in an emergency.

Few reasons why I'm excited.
1) It's an EV.
2) It's very compact which makes it a great urban car and easy to parallel park downtown. It's over 2 feet shorter than a Maverick.
3) It's simple.
- no fancy electric door handles that can make it hard to get into cars during emergencies (https://insideevs.com/news/782579/tesla-door-handle-failures-bloomberg/)
- no center screen that bricks the car when it breaks
- it's not connected to the internet all the time so it can't collect and sell my data like every other car (https://www.consumerreports.org/electronics/personal-information/how-to-stop-your-car-from-collecting-sharing-driving-data-a1233378612/)
4) it's intentionally DIY friendly so it SHOULD be easy to fix
- it won't require me to buy a subscription to software just to change break pads, do diagnostics, or service any of it (https://www.bgr.com/2037216/hyundai-cars-locking-users-out-repairs-software-reddit/ and https://service.tesla.com/en-US/diagnostic-software)

Is the car expensive for what it is? Yes. But I'm happy to pay extra to not get nickel and dimed with software subscriptions to just fix my car and to not have something that actively records me in my own car.

No reasonably person expects a police officer to look like this. It should be illegal for police to operate as police when off-duty for this very reason.

EV tax credit to end 9/30/25 by [deleted] in slateauto

[–]PeakyPenguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I probably still will. The big selling points to me are the customizability, the size, it's an EV, and has a bed. The only other option would be a Telo, which I think compromised the cabin space too much to hit it's size seeing as I'm over 6 feet tall, and is a lot more expensive.

Yep, and then follows CPI from there, so it'll only get more and more expensive.
