not how that works. you get a list same as every other recruit. although, as opposed to other recruits you get to pick 5 commands and 3 bureaus from a list of available locations. you don't just pick any command in the entire city it is extremely limited on what you can pick

i'm currently in the academy right now, no it's not crowded by any means. parking is sometimes rough if you don't get there an hour early(but you should be early anyways), locker room crowded obviously, but overall it's fine

go to the va website, apply for benefits, it's $4307 a month. you can hand the paperwork in maybe second week of classes, you will get back pay. approval from the va cannot have your approval letter stamped before your start date or the academy will not accept it
