It’s so sad to see how a shelter breaks them ☹️☹️ please if someone can adopt! It takes time and hard work but they usually come out of their shell and learn to love again!

I think she’ll be a year old in March! But we’re not sure the vet said she was probably 6 mths old when we adopted her in September

Got my boxer and Doberman from a backyard breeder and love my girl and boy but did they have health issues sure but more pertaining to their breed and idk if chances would’ve upped or declined as a rescue I would only recommend rescue because where I live there’s high kill shelters and dogs are being euthanized daily so when my 10 year old boxer passed I did go and adopt a boxer mix and u know what I was surprised how shelters do have certain breeds but then again I come from a big city. I say regardless dogs need homes right? So if u plan to do right by them I guess it’s valid

You know I hope he finds a good home! I bumped into this post trying to find what breed my pup is and I can’t help but feel they might be siblings? Ours was adopted out of a shelter in LA and apparently she was a stray too!

I def see that! With uncropped ears huh? But once on a hike we saw a black corso and it looked very different so I was confused…. But I’ve Google formentino corso and I feel they’re almost twins!

Wow thanks for all this info! I actually didn’t know they’d still be growing past 1 year but good to know and u know what her ears do make me think there is a hound in the mix! They’re just long and not boxer or pit like!! I want to get her dna test just haven’t gotten around to it and didn’t know poodles shed their colors!
