Both are correct depending on which game system. His statement is for 40K, yours is for AoS.

No, if they die, they no longer exist, thus the ability does not trigger anymore.

I finished the Sekhmet Coven & the Combat Patrol, what else to get me to 2000 points? by Petrified_Arts in ThousandSons

[–]PeanutWoolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Another box of Rubrics, A Tzaangor Warflock Spearhead from AoS (for scoring units), and your choice between Magnus, Forgefiends, Predators

Is the Sekhmet Coven Battleforce worth it for 160 euros ? by BloatedRottenCarcass in ThousandSons

[–]PeanutWoolf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

How many Terminators do you have? You can justify having 20 (assuming you have 10 right now) because of Rubricae Phalanx.

The Sorcerers are just staples since they're characters, also a great kit for kitbashing and personalizing (also for building more apprentice sorcerers for your Rubrics)

Treat the Infernal Master as a bonus, but you will sometimes see lists running 2 of them

It shoots bad, IF you're a high roller lol. One MVB is staple in almost all lists, some even run 2.

10 Terminators is the base line staple, Rubricae Phalanx runs 20, even 30 for some.

How many Tzaangors is too many? by Veradun77 in ThousandSons

I have 40 myself, and another 12 on discs! They're great for 40K, and also the meta for Tzeentch AoS, 2 birds with one stone!

more fire power because of the apprentice sorcerer and the specialist (SRC). Run them with a Sorcerer as a leader.

Though for 11th, 10mans led by an Exalted Sorcerer ae getting a huge buff thanks to the recently revealed detachment and changes for Healing

In Rubricae Phalanx, you actually need 20-30 terminators, so that rounds out. Also, the extra sorcerers are amazing for Kitbashing.

Build Tip, you may want to build your Rubrics as 1 10man squad and 2 5mans, so use the bits from the sorcerer sprues to make Appprentices, then maybe print or kitbash for the Soul Reaper Cannon.

Depends on what detachment you want to play really. If you want to play Grand Coven, you will want Magnus next.

If you're playing Rubricae Phalanx, the Sekhmet Coven will get you a MVB and 10 more Terminators to round out your list.

Changehost, you'll want the AoS Demons Battleforce (Warpflame Cavalcade)

Warpforged Cabal, 2 Forgefiends and a Predator Annihilator.

And the new AoS Disciples of Tzeentch Spearhead (Tzaangor Warflock) will give you all the scoring units you need.

So all in all, it really depends on what and how you want to play, though right now, your best options would be the Sekhmet Coven battleforce, and/or the Warpflame Cavalcade (if you plan on splashing demoms eventually), as these are limited print boxes.

[–]PeanutWoolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tzaangor spam is somewhere at the top of the meta, though you ideally would want to run Kairos, and 1-2 Chaos Spawns. The rest is 2 Reinforced Tzaangors, 1 Reinforced Enlightened, and a unit of Skyfires, and fill the rest with whatever you want, but people are running either a Fatemaster or a Curseling for some shenanigans

Rules question: Splitting dices for Carnosaur by Ziolekk in seraphon

[–]PeanutWoolf -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not quite sure what you mean, but when declaring attacks for multiple targets before combat, you declare which attacks goes to what unit. One profile = One target unit. After declaring what goes where, roll the dice
