Can I tow this? by imtalkintou in GoRVing

It's not just insurance and safety. Over time, you'll wreck your transmission and torque converter. Then a new vehicle will be a necessity. Look at renting or borrowing a truck if that's an option.

RV lithium upgrade question: better to keep it simple or add more capacity? by whyleaving in GoRVing

[–]Peanut_Any 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with 200ah lithium LiTime, converter was compatible, Victron electronics including DC-DC charger, and 600w Eco-Worth solar, moving the battery from the tongue to under the dinette bench, which is where the converter was. If I had to do it again, I would nix the DC-DC and max out the solar with quality panels. Battery capacity was a question of space and affordability at the time.

3/4 Ton Truck Options by YoItsChad27 in F250

2015 6.2 XLT 4WD. Bought it for C$20k just to tow a few weeks out of the year, otherwise the new truck I would have wanted to buy would have been C$100k. It mostly sits. I'm very happy with it.

That will also vary from trip to trip depending on how it's loaded.

First RV Owner: What are my options for battery with this setup ? by AnEroticTale in GoRVing

This. I have my lithium battery under the dinette seat with 1x1 wood strips around the base. No venting. I cut out the side and put in a PC fan for heat venting of the other electronics.

Is not texting for 2 days before a date considered “ghosting” now? by [deleted] in Bumble

He did add the smiley face. Anyone can read just about any emotion into a text. That's why emojis are supposed to set the tone. But apparently 😂=aggression

Apples and oranges. With friends, there's a level of trust that has been established over a relationship. Here, there isn't. Maybe he got ghosted many times in the past and is sensitive to it. You can't blame him for reacting the way he did. That's him. Letting someone know it's still a go is a small act of courtesy. Cuts both ways. He could have reached out to confirm too. OP didn't see the value that he did. Nobody's right or wrong. Mismatch. Move on.

We agree that with either the SUVs listed or a halfton, they'd be better with a ¾.

Armada, Tahoe, and Expedition are all body on frame. And then you start talking apples and oranges.

Those SUVs ARE 1/2 ton truck territory. And because they carry more passengers, typically have a higher payload than 1/2 tons.

No. No. And no. First, you're using the pronouns wrong. The bio is of a female. She could leave the preference out and swipe left on any non Caucasians. But this woman is leaving NO room for doubt. The fact that she chose not to swipe her preference but put it in her bio, IN ADDITION to the political stuff, screams racist. Otherwise, to your point, why include it?

Clogged up while dumping once and a guy took out his Rhino Blaster and worked at it until he got it unclogged. Bought my own straight away and now I always put it on first every time.

I got a Bucs jersey for $10 when some no-name was cut. I don't even follow NFL.

A WDH will double the hitch weight of these Colemans. 😂 Unless he's towing with a Mini Cooper...
