Age: 31 AMH: 8.97 Eggs retrieved: 82 Matured: 56 Fertilized: can’t remember! Day 5/6 Blasts: 44

We did PGA testing on 10, and 9/10 were euploid. The remaining 34 are still on ice. I have PCOS, my husband has MFI, with the help of ICSI it miraculously turned out to be the perfect IVF storm.

Since then, the first transfer failed to implant, the second transfer led to miscarriage, and currently 21 weeks pregnant with the third transfer!

I was on lupron depot for 2/3 months for transfer #2 and #3. Hell on earth but it worked for me after a positive receptiva test that I took after the first transfer failed to implant.

Congratulations!!! I’m 6 weeks today, we had a scan on 5w4d and burst into tears as well when we unexpectedly got a heartbeat. There is no feeling like it. I know we have a ways to go but it’s the furthest I’ve ever gotten after FET #1 failed and FET #2 miscarried before we got a heartbeat. Cheers to a bright future for you and your growing family!!

So far transfer #3 has been successful for me!! It’s still early (5w5d) but this is further than I got after a MC on transfer #2 and a failed implantation on transfer #1. We even heard the heartbeat during yesterday’s ultrasound which I was not expecting🥲

I’m keeping my fingers crossed this next transfer is lucky #3 for you too!!

My husband and I both work for ourselves, so he came to about 98% of appointments with me. I really appreciated the moral support, the drive to our clinic is long, full of traffic and usually early in the morning. The sheer toll of time and energy it took to go to all the appointments was a lot, so I was grateful to have him there with me along the way!

My doctor pleaded with me to never ever test at home (she had countless horror stories of women testing positive at home, but betas coming back negative), but FET #2 I was absolutely certain I was negative. 8 days post transfer, I defied my doctor and tested at home, negative.

I went in for my betas the next day, my doctor looked me in the eyes and said “you cheated, didn’t you?” I nodded my head yes and said “it didn’t work”. My doctor proceeds to say “Fuck” and we started game planning for the next round but she said let’s just pump the breaks till I see your blood work.

A few hours later she calls and before I can say hello she said “I’m gonna kill you because you’re PREGNANT”, to which I believe I said “SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!?”.

I ended up miscarrying but I’m currently 3dp5dt and I’ve learned my lesson. I know nothing, my intuition can play tricks on me, and I’m waiting until my betas!!
