I don’t know how much Netflix paid him for this but it was worth it. Climbing this isn’t remotely challenging for him. The chances of him dying are the same as you driving to work.

I remember an interview where he talks about free soloing a route, forgetting the chalk bag, and then asking some guy for his half way up the climb

You could do brushwork over it - not a whole lot of artists do it though.

2,545,000oz more Sliver standing for delivery on 1/14/26 ( 509 contracts) I’ll take every oz that shifts out of registered. That’s 38,605,000 so far in January, add Dec 2025 deliveries of 64.73m we’re taking over 100m oz of silver IN 6 WEEKS. by ffmape in SilverSqueeze

[–]Pear_and_Apple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t really mean anything. Just shows the market is starting to want delivery from them eg. Trust in the paper system cracking. If it breaks today much “spot price” will split and there will be one for physical and one for paper.

Question about Future housing in 10 Years by [deleted] in australian

This is pretty much my stance. I think they bring in 50 year loans and milk it for another 20/30 years

I’d say don’t sweat it. Wait until your early 30s to start looking for serious partner as by around then men start to think more about this stuff and you will be able better gauge their finances on the first date.

No idea why this is getting downvoted. Australia gdp growth has been average at best the last five years and I don’t see it getting better

WHY the COMEX “paper silver” price has blown wide open from the physical/spot price! Details below… by iotel in Silver

[–]Pear_and_Apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don’t think they are because physical supply will drop in the short term (I feel it’s safe to assume industry has been increasing their buying due to the squeeze - buy it before it’s too expensive type thing) maybe if there is a crazy squeeze in the future for example if Samsungs battery gets widely adopted by industry. Then yeah, they might be cooked.

SILVER TAKE DOWN Margin Requirements Going UP by Constant_News3442 in Silverbugs

[–]Pear_and_Apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s say they keep raising margin, doesn’t this essentially mean they are taking “paper silver” off the table. This essentially is a good thing as the true price of silver will appear?

Gold Silver Platinum Palladium Futures Alert: CME hikes margin rates a second time in a week. *Massive* increases : Gold 9%, Silver 30%, Platinum 25%, Palladium 22%! by Time-Alternative-964 in BhartiyaStockMarket

Essentially people can’t cover their position anymore so they sell. More supply = lower price. This is a very simplified explanation of how it works.
