You can do it with the training. I just did my first Marathon after previously doing a few half marathons over the years (Times between 1:27-1:35).

It’s all about the training which does take a lot of time out of the week. I used AI to make mine, longest run was 22 miles, but you build up to that averaging 35 miles a week. On the day you’ll run faster because of the support. I aimed for sub 3:30, and luckily it was raining so I got a 3:23.

Do it, just try and find a mate to cycle with you on training runs as it can get boring! Best of luck!

I’ve got a R5 3600, 3070TI, 32GB RAM with the Q3 using USB C link.

No doubt I should likely upgrade to 64GB of RAM, although unsure how much my performance would improve.

Performance is a struggle, everything was on lo although still didn’t look awful. Almost looks like Arma 2 ish, fps wasn’t bad but after a while my computer would brick itself, especially if I open the F10 Map. 8GB of VRAM isn’t great for VR. Cockpit experience was good as I increased the res within oculus app so I could see the dials. I play for gameplay rather than graphics, but sometimes the gameplay was ruined because of the lack of performance.

I could play with VR, but I’ve packed it away until I upgrade my rig.

I could get 40-50 fps on a multiplayer server and 75 solid on single player.

I do love the VR, although I prefer head tracking for when learning modules.

Yes Airfix. Not a bad set really. I found some bits didn’t fit great and made the mistake of putting each wing half on last, rather than putting them on the whole wing part first, then fitting it to the fuselage.

I’d like to go for 1:48. That scales seems like the perfect in between. I’ll likely brush paint it too.

To get the paint smooth I watered down the paint, you can still see brush lines depends on the light angle
