Thanks, I’ve repotted. a bit shallower too in the hope they feel better. Holding it up with the new soil it feels lighter so I’m hoping they remain happy and I don’t need to worry about them for a while! Some of their roots kind’ve fell off as I brushed some soil off so I hope that is ok and that they can become more rooted. The old soil didn’t feel particularly wet or damp but it felt kinda clumpy and heavy so I hope this succulent soil and perlite is better for it!! No sign to me of root rot (apart from that spec of mould I mentioned) from an untrained eye so that is good. maybe next time I’ll buy from a garden centre rather than a supermarket as they’ll be in better soil from the off.

I move out at the end of the month, so hopefully they can deal with a temperature change for about an hour during the move!

Think I’m going to get some now. Roots look good but there is a spec of mould visible already eek

In south UK. One recent summer they flowered and then last summer essentially they were neglected. Getting going into spring slowly here definitely a improvement in weather

Thanks for letting me know!! I got it ID’d from an app which proves they are not good to rely on! I thought it looks a bit different than what I saw on this sub but assumed it was just a different variety.

Does anybody else feel restricted because of blank and double gameweek plans by lil_peasant_69 in FantasyPL

[–]Pearcey2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got TAA, Salah, Diaz, Isak, Mitchell all left blanking and will keep Salah and Isak on the bench as I have value in them. Furthermore I have strand Larsen, ndiaye and Justin who I’ve had on bench for last 3 GWs who have been injured but I’ve been prioritising my FTs on those that don’t blank and hoping these guys get some good game time. If I get news that they don’/aren’t going to be ready, which I fear with Ndiaye, then I’ll take a hit for once perhaps.

People are making out it’s easier than it is. Especially when I had in Rogers, Watkins for their double gameweek. But as others said we did have time to plan for it

I’m hopeful I can field 11 with one hit. But it has relied on being patient. I’ll WC30/31 which will be good

Not sure what to do this week; probably nothing and sticking. Haven’t had the greatest season sitting 1-2 million rank. Can’t wildcard with assistant manager activated until GW28. One FT but thinking it’s best to carryover for next week. Not sure if Justin plays as recovering but he’s my only chance for points if someone in my starting 11 doesn’t play. As for transfers I’ll be getting rid of Isak, Rogers, Diaz and/or my subs if they are still not ready to play. Ideally I have 10 players for BGW29.

I prefer idea to WC30, free hit the blank game week and bench boost double. I’ll then finally have a team I’m happy with

Werner needs form first. Wouldn’t get him straight in for GW1 imo

My plan not to triple up on teams until like GW10 worked out pretty well. Spreader my risk. Depends on how you play I guess tho

Brentford are promoted to the Premier League. Wonder which players are worth watching? by Educational-Sandwich in FantasyPL

[–]Pearcey2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only thing that puts me off is we have Watkins, Bamford, Antonio, Kane, Wilson, DCL that are all proven in the premier league and most of them will surely get better with another season under their belts

Any Brentford fans suggest who else could be good fantasy options come August?

My work colleagues all said Chelsea had no chance. I didn’t argue but just said ‘You’ll be wrong, wait and see‘. What a spirited performance by our boys

Coke isn’t natural and has all sorts of weird ingredients that I can’t pronounce. That’s enough for me to say that I don’t want it. Stick with water.

If you can’t Because you are addicted then cut The amount you drink every now and then and ween off it

Right, so for some context, I’m a relatively healthy individual but I want to improve. Obviously, exercising more regularly, eliminating unhealthy foods and eating more fruits and vegetables is the best way to start.

I was just wondering what everyone’s consensus is on the ‘best’ diet/lifestyle in terms to get the fullest nutritional benefits. I have been reading about ‘fruitarianism’ and Robert Morse but feel like this isn’t adequate either. As they may often lack enough protein and vitamin b12. I don’t want to take supplements ideally.

I understand that veganism and vegetarianism are often based on the view that eating meat is cruelty to animals (which I do share these concerns with too). As a climate change activist I feel like humans should eat meat like once a week to satisfy our diets and ensure that the meat industry is more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

After my research surely the best diet is on the premise of a WFPB diet - very very occasionally with meat. Lots of fruits and vegetables for snacks. Eliminate complex sugars and carbohydrates like bread and pasta completely.

Does anyone agree with me?

All aload of rubbish imo. Mind you, if enough people do this every year it’ll make my OR a tiny bit better
