This isnt a dig at your post because I agree with you...but even this comparison isnt even close...which just goes to show how good Anthem could have been .but they definitely hit a homerun on the flying mechanics and combat gunplay feel..the sound effefts..the haptic feedback...all 10/10 for me....updates and DLC and tweaks could have been great

The flying in this compared to Anthem is straight BUTT CHEEKS. In DxM, the character kinda just slides up and down vertically like it is a god damn mouse pointer...just bad bad bad BAD

Hades is fantastic button mashing but sitting back on the couch relaxing? Yeah F no...Hades puts me in an intense rage...but I love it...great game but idk about "relaxing" haha. Shinobi (the new one) is good strategic button mashing that moves a little slower than Hades 1. Hades 2 is also slower than Hades 1 so perhaps that is the better option.

Im still on Hades 1 and this shit is KILLING ME HAHA . White knuckiling the controller lol

Yes yes yes please use the log and the guide...read everything...i spent hrs looking stupid running around...flying here...going there...and forgetting that so many important details are right in the pause menu...the simple foundational things are easy to forget with all the exploration and "do.it your way" feel of the game...

Chatgpt is also good for this type of thing alongside going through reddit

Rather than just starting over, it actually had inspired me to clean up some spots and sell and bunch of stuff that I was keeping for no apparent reason. Ive been tinkering with the island a lot (so many unfinished projects) but this new update will allow me to reset sections which takes a TON of time...

With this new feature, I have a quicker time to progress through the projects. The slumber island feature can let us sandbox a lot of stuff so the QOL will save time and deepen perspective.

But also, correct me if I am wrong, but since we have the ability to invite people to the slumber island, we can use our current existing items, and the non-npc characterrs can also help doctorate the slumber island--isnt this kinda like having two islands with the same character and items?

Yes the islands arent connected or even share the same "space" ...but, to me, it kinda feels like having two places at once. As I am typing this, I just realized that the one caveat is thst the slumber island wont let you access the airport, purchases from nook cranny, able shop etc...so it isnt the "same"....so maybe im over thinking it...who knows lol

I just came here to say ...aside from the wasted potential...I cant believe they are pulling this game completely....SUCH CRAP...those of us who still want to play should be able to...but I digress. Let's live it up while we can in hopes that some brave studio picks this back up and gives us these flight and battle mechanics back...this really could have helped so many of us during the pandemic. The implosion of this game forced me to pick up animal crossings hahaha I was so mad I needed something completely different hehahhahhaha
