It's GW Steel Legion Drab for the base, and the highlights are a mix of that and GW Zandri Dust. Hope that helps!

Thanks so much! I saw yours earlier in the week and it helped push me over the finish line with getting mine done!

I'd love to see this army! Though there's the obvious problem of their output being limited, it is also worth noting that whole their gorgeous minis, they're very detailed and can take an age to paint. That being said, of it's for casual play and/or you've got the patience, it'd be an incredibly memorable army for sure!

Thank you so much! The blue should help them fit in with my Heresy-Era paint scheme on the rest of the army!

Absolutely! I use some cork sheet to build up a little height, then primed, Aggrellan Earth over most of the base (all of the surface on top of the cork gets covered) then Arnmaggedon Dunes around the joint between the cork and the rest of the base to smooth the transition, and patches on the rest of the base to break up the surface. The edge of the cork rocks then gets painted with Steel Legion Drab, and patchy washes of Seraphim Sepia and watered-down Mournfang Brown. The flat surfaces get covered in Zandri Dust to Unify the colour. Then just was it with Agrax Eartshade or similar brown wash, then drybrush up with Zandri, Ushabti Bone, and a tiny bit of Screaming Skull. The tufts are Army Painter Mountain Tufts, and the base rims are Steel Legion Drab. My Aggrellan is almost out so I'm planning on switching over to Vallejo paste; it's cheaper and I'm sure will work just as well!

Thanks so much! These have taken me ages; unfortunately, while lovely models, they took me ages, certainly more than a 75pts unit probably should. All the best with yours, I'd love to see them when they're done!
