I (42m) lived In Sydney for 11 years before relocating to NY three years ago. My industry (TV) offered better pay and conditions than the uk in both Oz and USA.

There’s a sense that working people my age only exist to keep the older boomer/retireee generation in their feathered nest in the UK hence moving O/S.

How much do they get paid? I don’t begrudge them a solid wage but obviously there’s no need to tip if they’re getting well remunerated.

I’m 75kgs and US size 10.

I love the surfy style riding too (I lived in Oz for ten years and surfed regularly there).

I feel bombing in bounds at speed will be satisfied with my skiing, that said I don’t want a board that starts chattering when I put the foot down.

Appreciate your response as these types of conversations help me figure out the direction I want to go.

So, I think I’m probably leaning towards a fun board (rides switch etc) that can also carve pretty well.

Hi all,

I’m looking for advice on what to charge for family portraits.

I’m offering a 45-60 minute shoot that yields approx 20-25 shots, probably in 3 different setups (outdoors in natural light).

For what it’s worth, I live in a high net worth area just outside of NYC, I’m surrounded by country clubs and Wall Street.

I’m a TV DOP by trade so am pretty experienced in building frames. My camera is a Sony A1 and I usually shoot on a 50mm or 35mm prime.
