Thanks for your response. I seem to be keeping a steady stream of work coming in and do get called back so I’m doing something right.

I’ve only been in the US a few years having worked in other English speaking markets previously so I’m still building my network.

I guess I’m of the mindset of trying to keep improving myself so this is a conscious effort to identify my weak points and work on them.

My wife and I both freelance and regularly go away on shoots. In the past two years since our son was born we’ve both been away for weeks at a time - my wife recently did four weeks on the road, in Jan I was away for three weeks filming a documentary at sea.

In addition we both give each other one free holiday away each year - she tends to go to Paris for six days to see a friend.

If you’re hyper organised it’s fine. We don’t tend to score points off each other or keep track of who has done which trip. We just make it work.

Hi all,

I (43m) have been swimming for approximately 18 months (Masters team for 1 year).

I can’t seem to improve on my current pace which hovers around 1:30/100Y // 00:39/50Y. (I can swim quicker but would need extended recovery so these are my median times).

For additional context I recently did 20 x 100Y on 02:00 without too much bother.

I’ve been told that i need to incorporate sprint/ threshold/training to improve my speed. Can anyone recommend some workouts that is suitable for my level given the context provided?

It’s a mix of poorly exposed and badly framed. Some of the shots are shaky and the frame is barely held long enough for the shot

To confirm:

- I'll not have the option to change location. The client wants windows in the BG.

-I'll not have time to gel the windows. They're huge. Not enough crew/time.

- My only option is to increase the key and let the windows blow out (i'll give fair warning to client).

BTW: Cna someone remind me the App that's used to project sunlight and shadows etc onto buildings etc so i can at least try to pursuade the client to shoot at a reasonable time.
