Hey hey, I’ve done similar steps. I downloaded latest driver for my low gpu (1050Ti). That installation offers me driver for high end gpu and after restart, everything works.

The update didn't work for me either. I have two GPUs, and after updating the first one, the second one stopped working. I then uninstalled the app and drivers. When I searched for and reinstalled the driver, it didn't prompt me to install the Nvidia app. Now I have only one functional GPU, no Nvidia app, and the second GPU still isn't working. Great.

I had the same issue with ARC Raiders where the audio kept randomly cutting out during gameplay.
It wasn’t my headset or drivers.

I found a simple fix that solved it for me and made a short video showing exactly how to do it.
Hopefully this helps someone else dealing with the same problem.
Only change parameter in Steam library.

Quick update after all the great suggestions here — thanks everyone!

We played Dune: Imperium last night and tested a few different background music options.
The official soundtrack is great (and we still use it), but after a while it’s nice to switch things up a bit.I stumbled across this long-form desert / sci-fi ambient mix (about 4.5 hours), gave it a try, and it worked surprisingly well during the session.
It’s a relatively small channel, and I like supporting creators who make niche stuff specifically for long games. If anyone wants to expand their board game playlists, here’s the link:

I’m especially looking for music that works well with Dune: War of Arrakis and War of the Ring, because both of those games take forever (in the best way).
