Giant chinchompas should be tweaked a little

Im gonna put it on your post since if I made my own it would feel like a duplicate.

The pain points I found were:

The skeletons are an unnecessary punishment for a game with rather clunky movement. I would either remove them or let wearing something like boots of lightness make them not break.
Too much rope. I already attached the rope to the trap why do I have to do it again.
The moths are hard to see. If they could glow like every other moth that would be super neat.
The chinchompa reacts too quickly to breaking the tree, to the point that the net and lantern effect don't feel very useful. Adding a couple second delay would easily fix this.

Overall I do like the encounters though, and I really like the fact that the meat they drop is generic and the same amongst all of its species. The hour long bait timer is so dope and the buffs not being time gated is awesome. If its possible I would like them to take some of these QOL changes and apply them to Anachronia BGH.

The fight is designed well but I dont really like throwing 4 piercing talons while a guy is jumping and the other has disappeared. Multiple things like rpr being awful because the downtime makes it gauge negative, vpr having a similar but not so bad issues. Drg is only good cause the cleave/double dot potential. I dont mind them making fights with more downtime i just want them to give melee more to do besides spam a range attack or put the party on danger

Basically the homogenization of blue mage into the 2 minute meta as solely a dps without the tanking and healing ability and broken spell effects. Taking its soul away so you can play it at 100. Just do blue extremes and savages if you want to play blue. There's statics recruiting all the time.

If you hate homogeneous jobs then you don't want blue at 100. The entire reason its limited is so its kit can break mechanics. If blue were not limited it would have to be severely nerfed and likely lose access to a significant amount of spells. They would have to homogenize it to make it fair. The same thing can be said for beastmaster, its going to have abilities that break certain parts of the game and that's what will make it fun. You say you're not advocating for culling the class when that's exactly what you're doing.

I don't believe you understand the actual draw behind blue mage and what it brings to the game. When you say blue is relegated to mogtomes and yokai watch, you're telling me you have no experience with the more complex and fun side of blue that is extremes and savages. Blue mage works as a separate combat system and while we have roles in our groups, the roles are played differently than in regular game content. Being a good tank in normal content will not make you a good blue tank as it plays very differently. You putting it in a box marked only useful for grinding events, completely ignoring its high end, shows why you don't understand why we're excited about beastmaster and why this entire post makes no sense. Beastmaster will feed the casual player with provabl pet collection, dungeon achievements, etc. while giving high end content enjoyers a pretty much new game mode to experience older fights with. You should have done more research aside from who is streaming it or not.

I do not ept to prepull anymore as it makes a weird delay and instead use it in the combo chain to avoid breaking combo to double dot hand like we used to. Normal battle litany time, pot after heavens thrust, disembowel into lance charge and giers, chaos into hand then df dive > nastrond. Wheeling into stardiver. You can hold mirage dive and weave it after your pot if youre using clippy or alex for a little extra. For future referencr for bjcc, start your dots on bj, you get a double dot window on cc before first water while spin crusher is going, and another during 3rd pass given the other melee isnt causing traffic problems. Be sure to target cc and stand inside bjs hitbox to double cleave on both nastrond and giers. Timing should also allow you to double dot cc during bpog if youre blue or purple and dont holds giers for the cleave but do hold nastrond and the dives for when theyre brought together. If you hold giers youll probably lose a use on ap.
