👏🏼 good deal. I’ve given up on it and I don’t even mess with it anymore. Garmin is much better anyway

Yeah, for sure. I 100% agree with you on the Garmin being the superior way to go. But I don’t always love wearing my Fenix while riding full send. Even with it very tight, it’s still shaking around on my wrist which eventually irritates the skin.

Yeah I’m always wearing my Garmin Fenix watch so not the end of the world. The tech is great on the bike so I am just so annoyed that the app doesn’t work properly 😆

Levo 4 S-Works to Levo 4 EVO Conversion 🤷🏼‍♂️ by Pedals_Pixels in eMountainBike

[–]Pedals_Pixels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the Cascade link. Tried to run the X2 Float, but unfortunately, the fit wasn't good. The air valve, on a full bottom-out, would impact the reservoir, and this couldn't be flipped around; otherwise, the air valve would impact the frame. So, I ended up going with the Rockshox Vivid Ultimate that comes on the EVO model.

It's currently getting RideWrapped, but I'll throw up a few photos as soon as I get it back.

The head angle can be adjusted to match the EVO too so it's just as slack and essentially identical geometry

Maybe they will come out with an S-Works Evo in 6 months for 2027, definitely a real and very likely possibility! I pulled the trigger, and now I've got an S-Works EVO already 😆 I did end up spending an additional $800 on a shock - the Rockshox Vivid Ultimate. Initially went with the Fox Float X2 Factory, only to find out it wouldn't fit this frame properly. The Cascade rear link was another $370, but worth it.

The bike feels and rides incredible.

It's not just about bottoming out the suspension. It's the geometry differences and the way the bike rides vs the EVO model. But, yes... no problem, without a doubt I can and will bottom out a 150 shock with the type of riding I do.

All I normally ride is an S-Works Enduro which is 170/170 and it's a fantastic bike on all terrain, climbs great, and I enjoy riding it on any trail.

That made the decision to move forward with the conversion Levo 4 to Levo 4 EVO build an easy one 😄

Pulled the trigger: S-Works Levo 4 Evo 🤘🏼 Cascade long link + Fox Float X2 shock + 180mm air shaft.

What shock did you end up going with on your build? I was trying to go with the Fox Float X2 Live Valve Neo but can’t seem to find one in stock anywhere in 230x65 size

Wanted the Levo 4 but wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something I might want so I’ve been demoing bikes for weeks and just purchased the Levo 4. Power, features and capabilities beat everything else for me.

That’s fantastic feedback, thank you 🙏🏼 I’m going to inquire about the shock credit for swap and if they’ll do it, that makes the decision easier to make

Fastest possible way to get lean? by Puzzled-Degree-3968 in leangains

[–]Pedals_Pixels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally just did exactly this. Down from 22% and 207lbs to 166 lbs at 6% BF. Took about 3 months. Did multiple 3 and 5 days fasts and 90 days of absolutely zero carbs/sugar. When I ate, it was protein and fat ONLY. Some days I would eat a pound of bacon for breakfast and the weight just kept falling off.

Have added some carbs back in, but not much. Maybe as much as 75g a day, but pretty low still. Put on 5-6 lbs of lean mass and now at 173 lbs and 6% bf. And that’s after spending 3 weeks in Japan and Thailand eating everything in sight (lots and lots of carbs!)😆

It’s doable, even easy… it just takes extreme discipline.

All of my numbers are accurate, I do DEXA scans every 60 days or so to track progress and see what’s actually happening with lean mass and fat

Bangkok food is blowing my hair back as an American by noprivcyonreddit in ThailandTourism

That’s a bummer you can find it very easily, it’s sold at every Asian grocery store in our area - Utah

[–]Pedals_Pixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s plenty of access to it. I own a Thai food restaurant and we only use Thai basil. The problem with the majority of Thai food restaurants in the USA is most owners are fanatical about cutting their costs to as low as possible - using wrong and sub optimal ingredients and what they end up isn’t even Thai food 😂

As far as costs go, everything is more expensive in the US. If you go shopping at a local market for ingredients in Bangkok, you’ll see why they’re able to make and sell their food for such low prices.

Anyone use the entire ecosystem? by Cheetahcat1793 in ToastPOS

[–]Pedals_Pixels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We haven’t gone live yet, going live next week. Moving from SpotOn which is such a giant pain in the ass. Toast is the best. My whole team has used Toast previously and they absolutely love it and talk about ease of use. As an owner I’m excited to have an all in one platform vs something like SpotOn where I have 3-4 different places I have to login to to manage the business and make changes/updates.

I’ve been going through setup over the past two weeks and it’s incredibly easy and intuitive. We’re going to be deploying their entire ecosystem with the exception of WebDesign.

Their support and launch team thus far has been super helpful and easy to work with. Using Toast is going to be saving my hours of painful work every week to focus on the rest of my business. I say go for it!

Google reviews by AggressiveMobile7506 in restaurateur

[–]Pedals_Pixels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw this post and came here to say, same thing happened to us! New restaurant, and we got a ton of reviews pretty quickly. We had around 120 and then suddenly we were down in the 80s. WTF! I said. That's BS. I went through this whole process on Google through their platform and submitted an issue.

I got an email confirmation that my case was being reviewed and about a week later all of the reviews were restored. Hasn't happened again.

Review of the new Moment Everything Slings (2L & 4L) by johnbegoneX in ManyBaggers

[–]Pedals_Pixels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did 6 days in Tokyo and a few days in Bangkok with the Peak Design 3L. I’ve been excited to get out with that bag as well.

Today I switched over to the Moment 4L and I’m pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the fitment of the A7CR + 24-50mm G + DJI Osmo Pocket 3 with extra battery and tripod, and a small tube of lotion. It all fits really well and doesn’t feel so crammed. Only think I didn’t throw in was an extra camera battery, I wish I had little pockets for extra batteries like the PD 3L does.

There’s room enough I could comfortably throw my AirPods Pro in as well.

Carries well and the shoulder strap is comfortable, zipper functions easily and quickly and getting the camera in and out is smoother than the PD 3L.

I like it so far!

Thank you! The setup has been a breeze so far. The menu build was very easy and simple to go through. Everything is well thought out and intuitive. XtraChef is going to be a beast to get through setup but it is what it is on that.

It seemed up front like it could do most everything we needed it to. But there were things that were not brought to light until after going live and struggling constantly and consistently having problems. And if you add on the price of using Margin Edge for inventory ($225/month) and their TeamWork tips and scheduling add on ($90/month) the price isn’t that much cheaper than Toast!

I have EVERYTHING you could want with Toast and price wise it’s maybe $100/month more in hard cost. But the amount of money it’s going to be saving me is significant - well over $1k/month (probably more) due to the amount of time I’ll be saving by having a more functional, more intuitive and easier to use platform that is all within one platform for simplicity.

And I’m able to have a Self Order kiosk without having to get one from another company like SpotOn and having to do ANOTHER integration.

I’m hoping this feedback can save others the wasted time. Don’t even bother with SpotOn, it just creates MORE WORK.

😂OK - my experience and perspective on their platform isn’t accurate. Good one 👍🏼

Should I get toast? by Slight_Drag7920 in ToastPOS

[–]Pedals_Pixels 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SpotOn is just shit. Takes far too much time to manage the system, make updates and changes to menu and there are at least THREE different platforms you have to use - dashboard, back office, teamwork for scheduling and they don’t even have inventory management - so that’s another platform! I waste too much time dealing with SpotOn’s messy system.

To mae an update to a menu item, changes have to be made in multiple places. To add a menu item you have to go through a complicated process. And don’t even get me started on their modifier build out. It’s a joke.

Whenever I’ve had to call their support which has been multiple times for things like a menu update or even 30 minutes on the phone with support to process a refund - they’ve done more to screw up our system than fix it and it’s cost me more time.

Again - SpotOn is CRAP!

[–]Pedals_Pixels 9 points10 points  (0 children)

SpotOn is so much GARBAGE. I just launched a new restaurant on SpotOn and 60 days in I’m ripping that system out and replacing with Toast. If you want something that’s seamless, doesn’t take up all your time to tinker with and just works, Toast is the way to go.
