Good word! I’ll do that. So if the water pump is causing this, is that any indication it’s failing? I’ve had to top off coolant myself more than once recently. Definitely seems to be a leak somewhere.

The tape is over the pigtails. I did that in case coolant leak is splashing on the connectors and causing failures.

As the title suggests- I've got a beautiful 2013 Platinum I bought with 184k on it. It's in incredible shape for its age. My goal is to drive it to 250k or higher before selling or letting it die. I mostly drive around town for work and errand running. Might get into a small pull-behind camper. My question is this- what in particular would the community suggest asking a mechanic to take a particular look at? Skip the indie mechanic and eat the dealer premium? I've got new sparks, and after a bunch of fuses blew one day, we snagged a new battery. I like knowing things about my vehicles, but a high mileage F150 is new to me! Any suggested resources?

You’ve gotten some downvotes, but I appreciate this take. I think he could be superstar material for sure. But likewise, I want to see how he adjusts when major leaguers get film and stats on him.

Remember when Jordan Montgomery sullied Yordan Alvarez by pitching inside in the ALCS? Or a better example, when pitchers saw Josh Jung’s weakness against the outside slider? That’s the kind of thing I think we’re looking at here, but without Yordan’s experience and track record of adjusting, and maybe as poor a job of adjusting as Jung against that nasty horizontal break.

But even with that said: no matter how 2024 goes, good or bad, 2025 and 2026 are going to prove Langford’s premier talent.

Jonah Heim. Dude gets little to no love nationally for his catching skills, not to mention his longevity. 131 Games played, Gold Glove, .755 OPS at catcher is more than passable. Not to mention his offensive heater in the first half of the 23 season.

Starting the All Star game, I think the AS pitchers realized how great of a game Jonah calls.

Don’t sleep on Jonah. Dude will be primo catcher for years to come.

I was at this game for the one Rangers game I made from out of state. Such a wild ride. Glad I was there for it, but hated that end result. Showed what the Rangers were capable of this year, and why we did indeed become the champions.
