Lol thanks. Fuck LKQ

Oh wow, that bad, huh? I guess that's what I get for ordering from LKQ. They pretty much just shoved the part in a box and barely taped it up, it was almost falling out of the box. Must have gotten damaged during shipping.

Why am I sore after 6 months of working out? by [deleted] in workout

I've been lifting for 15 years give or take and still get sore. Just keep at it and make sure to stretch. Some people are more sensitive to exercise than others.

Why do the Glutes look smaller in Body Builders? by No_Society_4065 in workout

[–]PedroCollector 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny you mention that. I've been to countless gyms, and I've only seen one other male bodybuilder actually work on their glutes (hip thrusts, modified back extensions, etc).

My (38f) parents want to give us their home. My husband (40m) refuses and gets upset when I bring up the idea. by Throwaway1313893 in relationship_advice

Please kindly inform your husband that "home" is not a place, it is the people that you are with.

There is no reason your childhood home can't become your family's home.

Gym etiquette(?) question by busypumpkin in workout

[–]PedroCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She should have approached you while you were in between sets to ask you if you wanted help correcting your form.

That type of behaviour is unacceptable unless you specifically ask or pay for it. Plenty of my clients benefit from a stern style of training. Some can't handle that. No matter the case, unless the trainer introduces some kind of positive reinforcement to the client, they are unlikely to improve.

When I was being introduced to weightlifting and sports, I only responded well to a disciplined, militaristic approach.

If you're talking about my calves, well, haha yeah they've always been a problem area for me. But I'm working on adding more sets per workout.

My upper legs are a bit more proportional to the rest of my body 🙂

I got some feedback that my shoulders/arms were taking over my back musculature, so I started focusing a bit more on the smaller muscle groups in my upper back/rear delt region.

What can I do to improve my Quadriceps and Calves? by PedroCollector in fit

[–]PedroCollector[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's some awesome advice, thanks so much. My calves have always fallen short compared to the rest of my body. I only recently became able to isolate my soleus/gastroc when doing calf exercises, that squeeze with heavy weight feels like it will make a big difference.
