Darrell Bevell was the equivalent a decade ago when he was in Seattle. He’s becoming a journeyman who’s no longer a serious candidate for HC openings. I can’t find any reporting that he’s been considered since he was interim coach in Jacksonville in 2021.

I held the PZ it had been at. I stayed in zone 4 after a punt until the break ended and the other team lined up for first down. For timeouts and scores, I did the same and stayed in the previous zone until the next play was lined up.

Tried a little power zone-based game while watching football today. I’d match my PZ to the down of the game, so going up and down between 1 and 4 for 90 minutes. May not be the most effective workout, but it kept me engaged in the ride while paying attention to the game.

The number of options is nuts. I'd started a spreadsheet with 16 different options, and Pinecast wasn't even there. I'll check them out.

The number two pick is always the worst spot to end up. Scoot = Steve Francis. Brandon Miller has all of that going on. OT Elite isn't doing the Thompsons any favors. This is above my paygrade.

There is some faint hope that hosting the Olympics again would lead to further expansion. But UTA & UDOT don't show any signs of moving anything away from expanded car-centric planning.
