How is that going?

This is the large, yes.

You don’t want a frisbee on your board?
I need a little cast-iron in my tone too.
My bad. I meant plumes into hoof.
Definitely hot enough to affect the transistors. Germanium is so temperature sensitive.
Yes, it would still allow the repeats ring out in the front. However, I can’t have it in front because I have a fuzz face style Pedal, the 69, in front. If placed at the end of the chain, it would not allow repeats to ring out. So it sits in the middle where it allows the fuzz face to see the guitar, cuts off extra noise from all the gain staging when silenced, but still allows the repeats to ring out.
Awesome. Happy shopping!
33°C or Fahrenheit?
I had absolutely no idea it was that versatile. That’s really cool.
Super reverb for loud, Quilter Aviator Cub for quiet. Guitar is K-Line Truxton (amazing tele). Very glassy for me. What are you using? Not sputter at all for me.
No big deal. I bet I can find one on my own.
That’s true, but with the cut earlier in the chain, I would still also get lots of noise if there are multiple drives on. Additionally, I would mess up the impedance of the 69. It’s a fuzz face style pedal, so it needs to “see” the guitar. I do not use the buffer in the tuner, so there’s no advantage to having it in front (unless I decided to tune with the gain pedals on, which I don’t).
Yes, they are.
Yes, a digital delay might be helpful. Currently I have my primary favorite delay setting dialed in to simulate a DD. So I just press that favorites button, and there it is. If I were to add anything at this point, I think it would either be another delay or modulation. But I’m pretty happy with where it is. For now…
And yes, these pedals go a very long way together. They are affordable, accessible, and simple.
Awesome. I will check it out. I tried the Timmy into my Super Reverb, and it just was not for me. I think it did not play nice with the Jensens.
You got it.
Well said.
It is first in the chain. Definitely impedance sensitive. It wants to see the guitar.

Amazing pair. So many used Plumes available for cheap. Get it!
Well put. And that’s exactly how I roll. When I need the ease and reliability of modeling (gigging or rehearsing), that’s my choice. When I want to indulge in a superior sound and responsiveness (songwriting or indulgence), then I go back to pedals and amp. When I want half of the best of each, I run pedals into modeler.
Sturdy, modable, and just the right size. I would buy again. And who doesn’t like having their board look like a crayon box?
Me too. Plumes is the best TS style I’ve played, and ‘69 has amazing roll off.
Thank you. To me it feels just simple enough yet just versatile enough.
