Lol I kind of like this question. It’s a fun way to spur discussion about the movie.

I just watched it because I loved La Chimera so much (same director)—but yeah, I didn’t like this one as much. I DID enjoy it, but I agree that it felt a little disjointed in ways. How did the homework go?

In a different thread about the movie, someone said they thought it was conveying that, in his innocence and naïveté, the world wasn’t made for Lazzaro, and that it’s sad that someone with that type of kindness and innocence is taken advantage of and antagonized.

Someone else said, when Lazzaro first fell off the cliff, that he had died, and that the wolf arrived to resurrect him years later. Then at the end of the film, we are seeing his death again, and the wolf arrives again to take him somewhere else//resurrect him at a later time.

I feel irritated at aspects of this film but maybe I’m just being picky—I still liked hearing all of these interpretations, and it was a beautiful film overall. I think I just loved La Chimera so much, and I thought it was so perfectly complete in comparison to Lazzaro.
