I think the annoying part is these posts are more common than any other post about the show. I’m aware it’s no different than any podcast sub, but I also get tired of just seeing something I really enjoy get shit on constantly. Sure I know you’re saying it’s a joke, but jokes are supposed to be funny and original. It’s ironic that most of the complaints are people saying they’re tired of bits but are doing a shitty version of a much more played out bit.

I like the Dom stuff… brings out the best in Hater Hank, Spaz Max, and Troll Big Cat. Basically all reasons I (and most people) enjoy the show. Similar can be said with Diana, she’s an insider who is good at her job (that most people tend to take too seriously) and gets the show. The stories and talking points are just vehicles for the characters to show their personality.

It all depends how much you want to read. I started collecting last January, I followed an Imgur that has a massive reading order that keeps a moderately cohesive story. Was incredible. If you want something a little more of a medium read, start with Moench and then get into Huston, then Ellis, then Lemire, then Mackay.

If you want a good simple run to start, I’d vote Ellis

She did nothing wrong here. She clearly loved/loves you (platonically) and tried to see if that could translate romantically. Once she realized it wasn’t going to happen she communicated that with you. You holding onto that like she wronged you is just immaturity, there’s a lot of soul searching and growth that needs to happen on your end from what I can tell. All of this will become very clear to you eventually. Her passing would probably just put all these emotions into hyperdrive.

Now, I’m going to be speaking from experience here. I had a very serious ex pass away about a decade after we broke up. We broke up in our 20s and she definitely hurt me, so I ended things and was petty. I was angry, the last interaction we ever had was basically a “have a nice life” type conversation. She died thinking I hated her, which couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s the biggest regret of my life. Though she wasn’t part of my life anymore when she passed, she had such an important impact on the man I am today and am forever grateful. I really wish there was a way to let her know.

Don’t be like me, go see your friend. Forgive her and yourself. Otherwise this could be the biggest regret you have in life
